4 Number of Players: 2 Materials: Deck of digit cards or regular playing cards The object of the game is to collect the most cards. Instructions: 1. Shuffle and deal out all the cards. Each player keeps their cards in a stack, face down. 2. Both players turn over two cards. Each player multiplies the two factors from the cards they turned over. The player with the greatest product keeps all the cards. 3. If the products are the same, there is a STANDOFF. Both players turn over two more cards, and multiply the factors. They continue this until the products are different. The player with the greatest product keeps all the cards from the STANDOFF round. 4. Game ends when all cards have been used. The player with the greatest number of cards is the winner.

6 Number of Players: 2 Materials: Dice, paper, pencil The object of the game is to represent multiplication facts, write multiplication equations, and get the highest score. Instructions: 1. On your turn, roll the dice and announce the number. Draw that number of circles. 2. Roll the dice again and announce the number. Draw that number of dots in each of the circles. 3. Write a multiplication equation to match your drawing. 4. Your score for that round is the total number of dots (the product). 5. Play continues for 5 rounds. 6. The player with the highest total scores from all 5 rounds is the winner.

Instructions: 1. Each player rolls two dice of the same color. 2. Both players mentally add the numbers of the same-color dice together, and then multiply the sums of both sets of dice. For example: Player 1 rolls a 3 and a 6, which adds to 9. Player 2 rolls a 2 and a 4, which adds to 6. The product of 9 and 6 is The first player to say the correct product collects one counter. 4. Instructions: 1. Shuffle and deal out all the cards. Each player keeps their cards in a stack, face down. 2. On your turn, turn over two cards to make a two-digit goal number. 3. Both players then turn over two cards from their stacks and multiply the two numbers from the cards they turned over. The player with the product closest to the two-digit goal number collects all six cards from that round. 4. Game ends when all cards have been used. The player with the greatest number of cards is the winner.

Both players turn over two cards. Each player multiplies the two factors from the cards they turned over. 3. One player flips a coin to determine who wins the point. Heads the higher product wins the point Tails the lower product wins the point. 4. Play continues until one player scores 20 points.

14 Number of Players: 2 Materials: Shut the Factor Box cards; paper, pencil The object of the game is to use as many factors as possible. Instructions: 1. Shuffle the product cards and place them face down in a stack. Each player writes the numbers 1-9 on paper. 2. On your turn, draw a product card from the stack. Cross out any two factors that make that product. (For example, if you draw 42, you can cross out 6 and 7) Continue your turn until you cannot cross off at least one factor. 3. When both players have had a turn, the player with the fewest factors remaining is the winner of that round. 4. Play continues for 5 rounds.
