All accessories, switches, and especially air bag indicator lights must be plugged in beforereconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition. 2 1. Turn the shift knob counterclockwise to remove. 2. Unclip and remove the (2) trim panels on each side of the pocket below the radio/climate control assembly. (Figure A) 3. Unclip and remove the shift knob trim panel. (Figure B) 4. Unclip and remove the top of the center console including the cup holders. (Figure B) 5. Remove (2) Phillips screws from each side of pocket below the radio/climate control assembly. (FigureC) 6. Unclip and remove the pocket. (Figure C) S Dash Disassembly 8. Remove (2) 10 mm bolts above the radio (behind a/c vents) and (2) 10 mm bolts below climate control (behind pocket) then remove radio/ climate control assembly. (Figure A) (Figure E) (Figure D) (Figure B) Continue to kit assembly (Figure E) 7. Unclip and remove the a/c vents above the radio. (Figure D) 9. Remove the (6) Phillips screws securing the brackets and climate control to the radio. (Figure F) 10. Unscrew and remove the (2) clips from the back of the factory radio. (Figure F) (Figure C) (Figure F) 2

3 S Kit Assembly Double DIN head unit provisions 1. Align the small legs on the bottom of the radio housing with the slots in the top of the climate control then slide the climate control sideways to engage together. (Figure A) 2. Attach the (2) clips removed in step 10 in dash disassembly to the radio housing using the supplied (4) #4 x 3/8 Phillips screws. (Figure A) 3. Slide the DDIN radio unit into the factory bracket/radio housing/ climate control assembly and secure the unit using the screws supplied with the head unit. (Figure B) 4. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. (Figure A) 5. Reassemble dash in reverse order (Figure B) of disassembly. 3

6 1. Gire la perilla de la palanca de velocidades hacia la izquierda para quitarlo. 2. Desenganche y quite los (2) paneles de moldura de cada lado de la cavidad debajo del conjunto del radio/control de clima. (Figura A) 3. Desenganche y quite el panel de la moldura de la palanca de velocidades. (Figura B) 4. Desenganche y retire la parte superior de la consola central, incluyendo los portavasos. (Figura B) 5. Quite (2) tornillos Phillips de cada lado de la cavidad debajo del conjunto del radio/control de clima. (Figura C) 6. Desenganche y quite la cavidad. (Figura C) S Desmontaje del tablero (Figura B) 10. Desatornille y quite los (2) ganchos de la parte de atrás del radio de (Figura E) fábrica. (Figura F) 7. Desenganche y quite las rejillas del aire acondicionado de arriba del radio. (Figura D) 8. Quite (2) pernos de 10 mm de arriba del radio (detrás de las rejillas de aire acondicionado) y (2) pernos de 10 mm debajo del (Figura A) control de clima (detrás de la (Figura D) cavidad), luego quite el conjunto del radio/control de clima. (Figura E) 9. Quite los (6) tornillos Phillips que sujetan los soportes y el control de clima al radio. (Figura F) Continuará la preparación del kit (Figura C) (Figura F) 2

7 S Ensamble del kit Provisiones de unidad central doble DIN 1. Alinee las pequeñas patas de la parte inferior de la carcasa del radio con las ranuras en la parte superior del control de clima, luego deslice el control de clima lateralmente para que se enganchen. (Figura A) 2. Coloque los (2) ganchos que quitó en el paso 10 en el desensamble del tablero a la carcasa del radio utilizando los (4) tornillos Phillips #4 x 3/8 suministrados. (Figura A) 3. Deslice la unidad de radio DDIN en el conjunto de soporte/carcasa del radio/control de clima de fábrica y sujete la unidad utilizando los tornillos suministrados con la unidad central. (Figura B) 4. Ubique el arnés de cableado de fábrica y el conector de la antena en el tablero. Metra recomienda el uso de adaptadores adecuados de acoplamiento de Metra y/o de AXXESS. Vuelva a conectar la terminal negativa de la batería y (Figura A) pruebe la unidad para verificar que (Figura B) funcione correctamente. 5. Vuelva a armar el tablero al revés de como lo desarmó. 3
