Estos pasos Solo se llevaran a cabo después de que usted haya realizado la solicitud de su firma digital a través de nuestra página web. Si aún no ha realizado ese proceso, no prosiga con este manual y contáctenos. Las ilustraciones dentro de este manual fueron tomadas utilizando diferentes sistemas operativos, por lo tanto, lo que vea en su computadora puede variar. Tan solo asegúrese que active o presione las opciones que se le indiquen. FIRMA DIGITAL WELCOME! IMPORTANT READ FIRST This manual will help you in installing your digital signature. These steps only take place after you have made the request for digital signature through our website. If you have not yet completed that process, not to proceed with this manual and contact us. The illustrations in this manual were taken using different operating systems, therefore, what you see on your computer may vary. Just make sure you turn or press the options directed. In the images that follow the areas of interest have been highlighted for easier association, also, the key words have been bolded out. Additionally, colored arrows have been inserted to draw further attention to areas of interest and point out, with letters in alphabetical order, the sequence to be followed in case the step has more than one instruction. DIGITAL SIGNATURE Su firma digital es un archivo el cual usted descarga a su computadora, en un formato Security Certificate (.crt). Una vez descargue el archivo, deberá ejecutarlo dando doble-clic sobre él. Your digital signature is a file which you download to your computer in a format Security Certificate (.crt). 3 Este archivo SOLO es compatible con la computadora donde haya realizado el proceso de solicitud de la firma digital. Si la computadora donde se encuentra no es en la que usted realizo dicha solicitud, NO CONTINÚE con el proceso. Ese archivo se usa UNA SOLA VEZ. Usted puede generar una copia, la cual puede utilizar para instalar su firma digital en caso de que su computadora se dañe o para instalar en otra computadora. La firma digital tiene una validez de un (1) año a partir del momento en que se genera en nuestro sistema. El año transcurrirá independientemente de que su firma digital se haya instalado o no en la computadora. Por tal motivo, debe estar pendiente a su correo electrónico para que una vez reciba el aviso, pueda instalarla y usarla. This file is ONLY compatible with the computer where you have made the application process for the digital signature. You can generate a copy, which can be used to install your digital signature in case your computer is damaged or install on another computer. The digital signature is valid for one (1) year from the time it is generated in our system. The year will run regardless of whether your digital signature is installed or not on the computer. 4 Paso 1 Step 1 Presione doble clic sobre el archivo descargado de su firma digital, y al abrir la pantalla, presione Install Certificate. Press double-click on the digital certificate, and then, press Install Certificate. - 3

HAGA COPIA DE SU FIRMA DIGITAL Haga una copia de su firma digital utilizando el manual de Exportación de Certificados Digitales que se encuentra en nuestra página web. BACKUP YOUR DIGITAL SIGNATURE Make a copy of your digital signature using the Export your Digital Certificate to PFX File Format Manual found on our website. Keep that copy in a location outside of your computer (USB stick or external hard drive). With this copy, you can install your digital signature on any other computer. In case of damage or restoration to the original computer, you can re-install it and continue to use it, but only with the copy. 8 Paso 1 Step 1 Abra el navegador de Internet Explorer y haga clic sobre el menú de Tools en cualquiera de las tres opciones que se les presenta. Open the Internet Explorer Browser and click on Tools on any of the three choices presented. Paso 2 Step 2 Escoja la opción de Internet Options. Choose Internet Options 7

9 Paso 3 Step 3 Haga clic sobre la pestaña de Content. Click on the Content tab. Paso 4 Step 4 Presione el botón llamado Certificates. Press the Certificates button. 8

10 Paso 5 Step 5 Escoja el certificado a exportarse haciendo un click sobre este y asegúrese que esté resaltado con azul ( ). Choose the certificate to export by clicking on this and make sure it is highlighted in blue ( ). Luego, oprima el botón de Export ( ). Then press the Export button ( ). Si su firma digital no aparece en este paso, la firma digital no está instalada correctamente. 12 Paso 7 Step 7 Seleccione la alternativa Yes, export the private key ( ) y haga click en Next > ( ). Select Yes, export the private key ( ), then click Next > ( ). Si la opción de Yes, export the private key aparece en gris, sin poder seleccionarse, es porque probablemente uno de los pasos para la solicitud de la firma digital no fue ejecutado correctamente. También puede ser porque la firma digital ya se instaló previamente usando una copia de respaldo, en el formato.pfx o Personal Information Exchange. Comuníquese con nosotros. 14 Paso 9 Step 9 Entre una contraseña para el Certificado Digital (puede ser la misma que asigno en el proceso de solicitud, conocida Challenge Password) y confírmela en los campos indicados. Luego, presione el botón de Next >. Type a password (it can be the same assigned during the request process, known as Challenge Password), and confirm it in the fields provided. Then, press Next >. Se recomienda que utilice la misma contraseña que uso en el campo de Challenge Password en el proceso de solicitud de la firma digital. Tenga en cuenta que la contraseña que utilice no se guarda en nuestro sistema, por lo cual debe anotar la misma. We recommend you use the same password assigned in the Challenge Password field on the request process done through our website. Please be advised that the password you use is NOT stored in our system, so please write it down and save it. 13

15 Paso 10 Step 10 Oprima Browse. Press Browse. Paso 11 Step 11 Escoja la carpeta donde quiere colocar su certificado exportable, asígnele un nombre ( ) y presione Save ( ). Choose the folder where you want to place your exported certificate, assign a name and press Save. 14

16 Paso 12 Step 12 De vuelta a esta pantalla, presione el botón de Next >. Back on this screen, press Next >. Paso 13 Step 13 Presione Finish Press Finish. 15

17 Paso 14 Step 14 Entre su contraseña( ) y presione OK ( ). Type your password ( ) and then press OK ( ). La contraseña a utilizar, es la misma que coloco en el campo de Challenge Password en el Proceso de Solicitud realizado a través de nuestra página web. Si no tiene dicha contraseña, NO tenemos manera de recuperarla, ya que esa contraseña no se guarda en su cuenta o en nuestro sistema. Tendrá que contactarnos para el proceso de revocación y re inicialización. The password to use is the same one you assigned in the Request Process made through our website. If you don t have this password, we CANNOT retrieve it, as this password is not saved in your account or our system. Contact us for the revocation and reboot process. 16

18 Paso 15 Step 15 Confirme en OK. Confirm by pressing OK. FIN DE INSTALACIÓN Esta listo para firmar digitalmente documentos. En nuestra página web se encuentran manuales de las diferentes aplicaciones que puede utilizar. Tenga en cuenta, que al utilizar su firma digital, la forma como se ve en los documentos puede variar. Por ejemplo, nuestras herramientas colocan una imagen parecida al sello de goma para representar la firma digital en el documento. Otros programas, utilizaran un texto con su nombre e información.
