2 Requisitos Para incluir una quinceañera en la celebración parroquial durante la misa dominical (11:30 AM). Fecha límite para inscribirse: 15 de junio Presentar actas de bautismo y primera comunión. 2. Presentar una carta de su párroco dándoles permiso de celebrar su Quinceañera en Santa María de la Paz, o Estar registrados en Santa María de la Paz. NOTA: No es necesario estar registrado en Santa María de la Paz para incluir la quinceañera en la celebración parroquial, pero las familias registradas reciben un descuento en la cuota de la iglesia. 3. Pagar la cuota a la iglesia. i. Cuota para miembros de SMDLP $45 (retiro, ensayo y misa) * ii. Cuota para familias no registradas en SMDLP $55 (retiro, ensayo y misa) * iii. Cuota para asistir solamente al retiro $35 4. Asistir junto con sus padres al retiro para Quinceañeras. El retiro se ofrece en SMDLP para familias que han pagado la cuota. Si por cualquier motivo no pueden asistir al retiro ofrecido en SMDLP deberán buscar otro retiro y presentar el certificado de asistencia. EN ESTE CASO EL MONTO DE LA CUOTA NO CAMBIA. Familias que celebrarán la quinceañera en otras parroquias pueden asistir al retiro, pero deberán pagar una cuota de $35 y registrarse por lo menos 3 semanas antes del retiro. 5. Asistir al ensayo el viernes anterior a la celebración. 6. Vestir apropiadamente durante la Celebración, tanto la quinceañera como la familia: No se permiten escotes profundos, vestidos sin mangas o sin espalda, ropa muy ajustada, minifaldas, telas transparentes, etc. Si los vestidos son escotados, o sin espalda, o sin mangas deberán usar una prenda (sweater o chal) que cubra su desnudez. Hay que mostrar respeto a Dios y al prójimo. Para la quinceañera, no es necesario un vestido demasiado ornamentado, un vestido sencillo y elegante es suficiente. * TODOS LOS REQUISITOS DEBEN CUMPLIRSE. Si no se cumple con cualquiera de estos requisitos la Quinceañera NO será incluida en la celebración, y la cuota no se devuelve. 7. Confesarse antes de la celebración: Se recomienda encarecidamente que la quinceañera, su familia y amigos busquen el sacramento de la reconciliación antes de la celebración, para que todos puedan recibir la comunión. Como la celebración se hace en el contexto de la misa dominical, no habrá arreglos especiales de decoraciones, música, ni fotógrafos. La celebración es sencilla y consiste en el Rito de bendición de quinceañeras antes de la bendición final. PARA INSCRIBIR A SU QUINCEAÑERA, FAVOR DE ENTREGAR EN LA OFICINA LO SIGUIENTE: 1. Forma completa de inscripción (con toda la información incluida). 2. La carta de su párroco dándoles permiso de celebrar la quinceañera en SMDLP (solamente si la familia no está registrada en SMDLP). 3. Copias de las actas de bautismo y primera comunión. 4. La Quinceañera será en otra iglesia, solamente asistiremos al retiro. Presentar esta forma completa en la oficina, junto con: 1. La carta de su párroco dándoles permiso de celebrar la quinceañera en SMDLP (solamente si la familia no está registrada en SMDLP). 2. 5 Requirements for including a quinceañera during Sunday Mass (11:30 AM). Deadline to register: June 15, Present the baptism and first communion certificates. 2. Present a letter from her parish priest giving permission to celebrate her Quinceañera at Santa Maria de la Paz, or be a registered member of Santa Maria de la Paz. NOTE: Being a registered member at Santa Maria de la Paz is not necessary for including a quinceañera in the Sunday celebration. However, registered families pay a reduced church fee. 3. Pay the church fee: i. SMDLP member s fee $45 (retreat, rehearsal and Mass) * ii. Non-member s fee $55 (retreat, rehearsal and Mass) * iii. Retreat-only fee $35 4. Attend a retreat for Quinceañeras and parents. SMDLP offers this retreat for families who have paid the fee. If they are unable to attend the scheduled retreat, they need to seek another retreat elsewhere, and present proof of attendance. NOTICE THAT IN THIS CASE, THE FEE REMAINS THE SAME. Families who will celebrate their Quinceañera in another church may attend the retreat; but they must pay a $35 fee and register at least two weeks in advance. 5. Attend the rehearsal on the Friday before the celebration. 6. Dress appropriately (modestly) for the celebration; this applies to the quinceañera and her family: What is not allowed? Sleeveless, backless, low-cut or bare-shoulder dresses/blouses, tightfitting clothing, short skirts, transparent fabrics, etc. If they have a bare-shoulder dress, they must cover it with another piece of clothing (i.e. a sweater). We must show respect in God s house and to our neighbor. For the quinceañera, she does not need a sumptuous dress, a simple but elegant dress is enough. * ALL ABOVE REQUIREMENTS MUST BE FULFILLED. If the family fails to fulfill any of the above requirements the Quinceañera will be excluded from the celebration and the family will forfeit the church fee. 7. Receive the sacrament of Reconciliation before the celebration: we strongly encourage that the quinceañera and her family and friends seek the sacrament of Reconciliation before the celebration, so that all may receive Holy Communion. Since the celebration happens within the context of Sunday Mass, there will not be any special decorations, music or professional photographers. This celebration is simple and it consists in the Rite for the Blessing of Quinceañeras before the final blessing. TO REGISTER YOUR QUINCEAÑERA, PLEASE TURN IN TO THE PARISH OFFICE THE FOLLOWING: 5. Letter from your pastor giving you permission to celebrate the Quinceañera in SMDLP (only if the family is not a registered member of SMDLP). 7.
