CAUTION Indicates a potentially hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, may result in minor/moderate injury or product/property damage. It also alerts against unsafe practices. When using this or any other electrical appliance, always follow these basic safety precautions: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE. WARNING To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or serious personal injury: Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet before relocating, assembling, disassembling, or cleaning it. Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. This product is not intended for use by children. Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use, especially when children are present. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it is not in use. Do not place product Base in or expose it to water or other liquids. Keep the Power Cord and product away from heated surfaces. Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the product manufacturer. Handle the Blades with care as they are extremely sharp. Use caution when attaching or detaching the Blades. Do not touch moving parts (e.g., the Blades) while the product is in use. Keep hands and utensils away from the moving Blades while operating the product. Do not plug/unplug the product into/from the electrical outlet with a wet hand. To disconnect the product from an electrical outlet, pull directly on the plug; do not pull on the power cord.

3 Always operate the product with the cover in place. Never place the Blade Assembly on the Base unless attached to the Jar. Do not put any stress on the Power Cord where it connects to the product, as the Power Cord could fray and break. Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending. A scraper may be used but only when the blender is not running. Do not operate the product if it has a damaged or cut Power Cord or plug, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, or if it is dropped or damaged. This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Only qualified service personnel should perform any servicing; take the product to the appliance repair shop of your choice for inspection and repair. CAUTION- To reduce the risk of personal injury or product/property damage: This product is intended for indoor, non-commercial, non-industrial use in processing foods for human consumption. Do not use the product outdoors or for any other purpose. Always operate the product on a flat, stable surface. The blender is not intended for blending hot liquid. Do not attempt to open any part of the Motor Housing. Do not allow the Power Cord to hang, such as over the edge of a table or counter, where it may be tripped over or pulled. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit. Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat increasing the risk of fire. However if an extension cord must be used, the cord must be No. 14 AWG minimum size and rated not less than 1875W. ARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit,

4 contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Motor Housing 8. Power Cord NOTE: Parts 3-6 are initially assembled in the packaging. To Assemble 1. Before using the product for the first time, wash all the parts except the Motor Housing in warm, soapy water and then rinse and dry thoroughly. 2. Place the Motor Housing on a flat, stable surface, and then place the assembled Pitcher in the top of the Motor Housing and turn counterclockwise until it is firmly in place. 3. Place the Lid with Cap onto the Pitcher. To Use CAUTION: Do not operate the product until it is properly assembled. 1. Ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet. 2. Pour liquid ingredients into the Pitcher. 3. Wash all solid ingredients and cut them into pieces small enough to fit into the Cap.

5 CAUTION: The Pitcher has a six cup (48 oz. /1.5 liter) capacity. Do not over-fill it. CAUTION: Do not use the product for mashing or grinding heavy foods (e.g., potatoes or meats) or to stir thick mixtures (e.g., dough). 4. After filling the Pitcher with ingredients, place the Lid with Cap securely onto the Pitcher. 5. Plug the product into a standard volt AC electrical outlet. 6. Turn the Dial to the desired speed (1-5) or hold the Dial in the P position for Pulse. CAUTION: Never operate the product empty. CAUTION: Never operate the product s motor for more than three minutes at a time. Allow the motor to cool for 60 seconds after three minutes of operation. NOTE: If the Blades are not operating smoothly, stop the product and add some liquid, or reduce the contents in the Pitcher. 7. Turn off the product by turning the Dial to the 0 position and then unplug the product from the electrical outlet. WARNING: Always unplug the product when it is not in use or will be left unattended. 8. When the Blades have stopped, the Pitcher can be removed from the Motor Housing.

6 Care and Maintenance WARNING: Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet before relocating, assembling, disassembling, or cleaning it. CAUTION: Before disassembling the product for cleaning, ensure the Blades have completely stopped and use caution when attaching or detaching them, as they are extremely sharp. Always clean the product immediately after each use. Wash all parts except the Motor Housing in warm, soapy water and then rinse and dry thoroughly. Never immerse the Motor Housing in water or other liquids or use abrasive cleaners. Do not place any parts into a dishwasher or extremely hot water. To disassemble the Pitcher for cleaning, turn the Blade Base counterclockwise and remove it, the Blades, and the Gasket from the Pitcher. Use a small brush (not included) to remove particles of food lodged underneath the Blades. Store the product in a cool, dry place. Electrical Ratings: 120V AC 60 Hz 500 Watts

Está usando cualquier artefacto eléctrico, precauciones básicas deben seguirse incluyendo las siguientes. LEA CUIDADOSAMENTE LAS INSTRUCCIONES ANTES DE USAR. Siempre desconecte el utensilio después de usarlo. - No poner la base del utensilio en lugares cercanos al agua ó cualquier otro líquido. - Mantenga el cordón del utensilio, alejado de las superficies calientes. - El uso de otros aditamentos que no son recomendados por los fabricantes, pueden causar daños a las personas. - Maneje las cuchillas con mucha precaución, ya que son muy filudas Sea muy precavido cuando ponemos ó retiramos las cuchillas. - Nunca tocar las partes cuando la licuadora está trabajando especialmente las cuchillas. - No conectar ó desconectar el utensilio, con las manos mojadas. - No conectar o desconectar el utensilio alando del cordón, debe hacerse alando del enchufe. - Siempre use el utensilio con la tapa puesta.

9 - Nunca deja las cuchillas fuera del utensilio. - No presionar el enchufe al tomacorriente para evitar que el cordón se dañe ó rompa. - Mantenga las manos fuera del alcance de las cuchillas mientras el aparato está trabajando. Un limpiador se puede usar siempre y cuando las cuchillas no estén en uso. - No use este artefacto, si tiene alguna avería, si se ha caído ó el cordón esté roto ó pelado, ya que la exposición de los alambres pueden ocasionar un mal funcionamiento. - No intente reparar este utensilio, es mejor que lo lleve al servicio de reparación autorizado más cercano. PRECAUCIONES.-Para evitar posibles lastimaduras, ó daños a la propiedad: - Este utensilio es únicamente para uso doméstico. No se debe usar en espacios al exterior. - Siempre se debe usar este utensilio, en superficies planas, muy bien niveladas. - Este utensilio no es recomendado para hacer uso con líquidos calientes. - Nunca intente reparar este utensilio cuando está trabajando. - No deje el cordón colgado, para evitar que las personas lo pateen ó lo pisen. INSTRUCCIONES ESPECIALES - Para evitar posibles cortocircuitos, no debe conectar dos ó más utensilios en el mismo tomacorriente - Evitar el uso de extensiones, estas pueden causar sobrecalentamiento y provocar incendios. - Sin embargo si ud necesita usar una extensión, el cordón debe ser, número catorce AWG y tener una capacidad no menor de 1875W. PREVENCIÓN: Este electrodoméstico está equipado con un enchufe polarizado (una patilla es más ancha que la otra), para reducir peligros de corto circuito. El enchufe calza solo en tomacorrientes polarizados. De no poder conectar al tomacorriente de una manera, trate de la manera opuesta. Si no puede conectar el enchufe de ninguna manera, no modifique las características de seguridad del enchufe y póngase en contacto con el agente autorizado más cercano.

Antes de usar este utensilio: PASOS PARA ENSAMBLAR: - Lave todas las partes en agua jabonosa y luego secar inmediatamente con excepción del motor. - Ponga el motor en una superficie plana y estable, luego coloque el vaso del utensilio ya armado en la tapa del motor y gire en sentido de las manecillas del reloj, hasta una posición firme y segura. - Coloque la tapa y el tapón el vaso del utensilio. USOS: No de uso del utensilio, mientras no esté armado de una forma correcta. 1. Asegúrese del que el utensilio esté desconectado del tomacorriente. 2. Vierta el líquido en el vaso del utensilio. 3. Lave todos los ingredientes y corte de una manera que puedan

11 tener el tamaño suficiente para colocar en el vaso del utensilio. Advertencia: El vaso tiene una capacidad de 6 tasas (48 oz ó 1.5 litros) de capacidad. No le sobre llene. Advertencia: No use este utensilio, para productos como: papas, carne, ó pastas. 4.Luego de que ya se ha llenado el vaso con los productos a trabajar, coloque la tapa en el vaso y encienda el motor. 5.Conecte el utensilio a una corriente estándar 120 volt AC 6.Gire el botón a la velocidad deseada (1-5) ó sostenga el botón en la posición P que indica pulsar. Advertencia: Nunca opere el utensilio vacío. Advertencia: Nunca opere el utensilio por más de tres minutos al mismo tiempo. Deje que el motor se enfríe por un período de sesenta segundos, luego de tres minutos de uso. Nota: Si las cuchillas no están trabajando adecuadamente, parar el proceso y añadir líquido, o reducir la cantidad de contenido para evitar daños en el motor. 7.Para apagar el utensilio, coloque el botón a la posición O y luego desconecte del tomacorriente. Prevención: Siempre desconecte el utensilio, cuando no está trabajando. 8.Cuando las cuchillas han terminado su trabajo, el vaso puede ser removido del motor.

12 CUIDADOS Y MANTENIMIENTO Para evitar cualquier daño personal ó eléctrico - Asegúrese de que el utensilio este desconectado del tomacorriente. - Antes de desarmar, asegúrese de que las cuchillas estén completamente paradas y sea muy precavido para poner ó sacar las mismas ya que son extremadamente afiladas. - Siempre limpie el utensilio después de usarlo. - Lavar todas las partes en agua tibia y jabonosa a excepción del motor, secar inmediatamente. - Nunca sumerja el motor en agua ó cualquier otro líquido. - Nunca ponga ninguna de las partes en la lavadora ó en agua extremadamente caliente. - Para desarmar el vaso, gire la base de las cuchillas de la misma manera de las manecillas del reloj, luego retire el empaque del vaso del utensilio. Use un cepillo pequeño (no está incluido) para remover partículas de comida que se depositan en la base de las cuchillas. - Guarde el utensilio en un lugar seco y a una temperatura normal.
