1 GUIA PARA CARGAR UN TRABAJO EN LA PLATAFORMA WEB SILAE UPLOADING A PAPER ON THE SILAE WEB PLATFORM: A HOW-TO GUIDE Paso 1 Step 1 Antes de cargar su trabajo, por favor asegúrese de que este contenga el siguiente formato. Before uploading your paper, please make sure it follows the format below. Paso 2 Step 2 Ingresar a la página web SILAE: Go to SILAE website:

2 Paso 3 Step 3 En el menú principal, seleccione la pestaña Portal Virtual. On the main menu, please select the Portal Virtual tab. Paso 4 Step 4 En la pestaña Portal Virtual, seleccionar la opción INSCRIPCIONES. Esta acción desplegará un formulario de registro. At the Portal Virtual tab, please select the INSCRIPCIONES option. This will display a registration form. Paso 5 Step 5 Diligencie el formulario de registro teniendo en cuenta que los campos marcados con un asterisco (*) son obligatorios. Seleccione la opción ENVIAR una vez haya terminado. Please, fulfill the registration form taking into account that the fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory. Once finished it, please click on the ENVIAR (SEND) button.

3 Paso 6 Step 6 Un correo electrónico con un código será enviado al correo que usted proveyó en el formulario de registro. Este código le permitirá iniciar sesión en la plataforma web del Congreso SILAE. An with a password will be sent to the address provided in your registration form. Paso 7 Step 7 Para iniciar sesión, acceda al link que le fue enviado a su correo electrónico o ingrese a través de la plataforma web del Congreso SILAE -> pestaña PORTAL VIRTUAL -> opción INICIAR SESIÓN. To log in, click on the link sent to your or access through the Congreso SILAE website -> PORTAL VIRTUAL tab -> INICIAR SESIÓN option.

4 Paso 8 - Step 8 Por favor, ingrese el código y de click en la opción ENVIAR. Un panel con tres opciones se desplegará. Seleccione la opción SUBIR TRABAJO para cargar su trabajo en la plataforma web SILAE. Please, enter your password and then click on the ENVIAR button. A panel with three options will be displayed. Please select the SUBIR TRABAJO option to upload your paper on the SILAE website.

Paso 9 Step 9 Después de seleccionar la opción SUBIR TRABAJO, el siguiente aviso se mostrará requiriéndole iniciar

Paso 10 Step 10 Luego de iniciar sesión, encontrará el menú de opciones para subir su trabajo de acuerdo con las

Paso 10 Step 10 Luego de iniciar sesión, encontrará el menú de opciones para subir su trabajo de acuerdo con las especificaciones establecidas para el congreso. También encontrará registrado su documento de identidad y nombre. After log in, you will find the menu to upload your paper according to the established specifications for the congress. You will also find your ID number and name already registered.

6 Paso 11 Step 11 Más abajo, en la misma página, encontrará el formulario para registrar los datos de su trabajo. En la opción Tipo de Postulación usted podrá especificar la forma de presentación del mismo: Oral o Poster. Scroll down and you will find the registration form for your paper. On the option Tipo de Postulación you may specify the sort of presentation of your preference: Oral or Poster. NOTA: Si usted escogió la opción de presentación ORAL, la fecha de cierre para postular su trabajo es el 15 de junio. Si escogió POSTER, es el 30 de junio de La fecha límite para recepción de resúmenes es el 30 de junio de También podrá seleccionar la temática de interés de acuerdo con su trabajo. Dentro de las opciones se encuentran las 7 temáticas del Congreso SILAE y Cromatografía.

7 NOTE: If you choose the ORAL presentation mode, the deadline to submit your abstract is June 15 th, If you choose POSTER mode presentation, the deadline for submission is June 30 th, You may also choose the topic of your interest in accordance with your paper. Within the Tematica de Interes option you may find the 7 topics of the SILAE and COCOCRO Congress. Paso 12 Step 12 Diligencie por completo el formulario de registro. Si hay varios autores que pertenecen a la misma institución, solo se requiere ingresarla una vez y el número que se le asigna a la misma se debe ligar al autor. Luego de ingresar los datos de AUTOR e INSTITUCIÓN seleccione la opción AGREGAR. Si desea adicionar más autores o instituciones solo debe ingresarlas y luego seleccionar la opción AGREGAR. To fulfill completely the registration form. If there are more than an author belonging to the same academic institution, just register once the institution and link the number allocated to it with the author. After completing the fields AUTOR and INSTITUTION, please select the AGREGAR button. If you wish to add extra authors or institutions, please register them and click on the AGREGAR button.

8 Paso 13 Step 13 Por último, encontrará el CUERPO DEL DOCUMENTO. En este campo usted podrá redactar el contenido de su trabajo. 550 palabras máximo. Una vez terminado, por favor seleccione el botón GUARDAR. Finally, you will find the CUERPO DEL DOCUMENTO chart. On this field, you may describe the content of your paper. 550 words Max. Once finished, please select the GUARDAR button.

Un recuadro web aparecera una vez su resumen haya sido guardado. De click en Aceptar. Once your abstract is saved, a web ad will pop up. Click on Aceptar.

Si usted siguió correctamente todos los pasos, un recuadro como el de abajo deberá aparecer mostrando que su resumen fue cargado al sistema. If you have followed correctly the steps, a chart as the one below must appear showing your abstract was satisfactorily uploaded.

En esta parte usted puede ver el documento que ha subido al dar clic en la opción VISTA PREVIA. Si su trabajo presenta algún error, puede realizar todos los cambios que requiera.

In this part you can check the submitted documents by clicking in the PREVIEW option. If your work has any error, you can do the required changes. Antes de ENVIAR el trabajo, asegúrese que no tiene errores ya que si el evaluador no tiene observaciones, quedará como usted lo envíe en las memorias del congreso. Be aware to revise carefully your abstract before submit it, because if the referee does not have corrections, the document will be published in the Congress memories, as you have sent. Paso 14 Step 14 Para enviar el trabajo, dar clic en la opción ENVIAR. To send the work, click on ENVIAR option.

11 Una vez que envíe su trabajo, aparecerá el aviso de que su trabajo ha sido enviado para calificar. Once you send your work, the follow message will appear to advice that your work was sending for qualification. A su correo le llegará una notificación de que su trabajo ha sido enviado. A notification will be sent to your , when your work has been submitted.
