Lesson 70: Questions Lección 70: Preguntas Reading (Lectura) Is your job easy? ( Es tu trabajo sencillo?) Has he finished eating? ( Ha terminado de comer?) Will it keep raining? ( Seguirá lloviendo?) Do you know what time it is? ( Sabes qué hora es?) Does he understand the question? ( Él entiende la pregunta?) Did you write this poem? ( Escribiste tú el poema?) 1

Will it be a long flight? ( Será un viaje largo?) Might I come early? ( Podría venir temprano?) Have the carpets been washed? ( Han sido lavadas las alfombras?) Is she still at home?

E.g.)He is playing video games. (Él está jugando a los videojuegos.) Is he playing video games? E.g.)She will travel to Europe. (Ella viajará a Europa.) Will she travel to Europe? ( Viajará ella a Europa?) E.g.)He drives a car. (El conduce un coche.) Does he drive a car? ( Conduce él un coche?) He drove a car. (El condujo un coche.) Did he drive a car? E.g.)Where is your house? ( Dónde está tu casa?) Who came here? ( Quién estuvo aquí?) Which car is yours? ( Cuál es tu coche?) What plan do you have? ( Qué plan tienes?) 3

Speaking (Conversación) 1) Will he arrive today? ( Llegará el hoy?) 2) Is it better this way? ( Es mejor así?) 3) What do you mean by that? ( Qué quieres decir con eso?) 4) Which of them will come to the party? ( Cuál de ellos vendrá a la fiesta?) 5) How did you fix the TV? ( Cómo arreglaste la TV?) 6) When did she start working? ( Cuándo empezó a trabajar?) 7) How can I solve this problem? ( Cómo puedo resolver este problema?) 8) Was he looking for me? ( Me estaba buscando?) 9) Why are they leaving so soon? ( Por qué se van tan pronto?) 10) Has she forgotten the password?

( Estan todos aquí?) 2) is your father? ( Quién es tu papá?) 3) can we get there? ( Cómo podemos llegar ahí?) 4) you think this is a good idea? ( Piensas que esta sea una buena idea?) 5) he know the answers? ( conoce él las respuestas?) 6) you talked to them recently? ( Has hablado con ellos recientemente?) 7) knows what happened yesterday? ( Quién sabe qué pasó ayer?) 8) you sure this is the best choice?

Question Making (Construye Preguntas) Re-formula las siguientes frases para que se conviertan en preguntas 1) My name is Steve. 2) I can run very fast. 3) I bought some burgers. 4) He knows that we will visit him. 5) Her new hairdo is wonderful! 7
