Check your answers Double Object Pronouns Grammar Summary Spanish-2 Unidad 2 Etapa 3 Remember that an object pronoun appears either before the conjugated verb or after (and attached to) the infinitive if there is one. What do you do when you have both a direct object pronoun and an indirect object pronoun? Theindirect object pronoun goes first, followed by the direct object pronoun. Me los vas a comprar. OR Vas a comprarmelos
7 This is called R.I.D. Rule. When there are multiple pronouns, the order they go in is Reflexive, Indirect, Direct. When both of the pronouns are in the 3rd person, and start with the letter "L," you change the indirect object pronoun to se. This is done for easier pronunciation, so that there are not two "L" sounds backto-back. It is called the "LA-LA Rule." Le la doy becomes Se la doy Homework done during class time will not be accepted. Homework will only be accepted on the day it is due unless the student has a legitimate excused reason. The missed assignment deadline for a legitimate absence is 2 days. Homework may be collected and graded from time to time. Homework assignments may often be material for a quiz the next day. The missed exam/quiz deadline is 5 days from the date of the exam/quiz and is given by appointment. The quiz grades will be based on announced and unannounced quizzes.
