Nuevos estudios revelan que los jóvenes duermen sólo seis o siete horas cada noche. Si un joven no duerme suficiente, puede tener problemas de concentración y de control de sus emociones.
4 Cuál es la respuesta a este problema? Pues, acuéstate temprano y sigue una rutina cada noche. Otros consejos para dormir mejor son: Toma sólo bebidas sin cafeína después de las cinco de la tarde. Evita (avoid) programas de televisión o películas violentas antes de acostarte. También evita usar la computadora o jugar videojuegos antes de dormir. Un baño o una ducha antes de acostarte puede ayudar a dormir. Haz ejercicio todos los días pero no antes de acostarte. Debes acostarte y levantarte cada día a la misma hora. Si quieres acostarte tarde durante el fin de semana, es mejor no hacerlo dos noches seguidas. Cuántas horas duermes cada noche? Cuántas horas crees que debes dormir cada noche? Hay mucha diversidad de hábitats y especies en el parque porque existe una gran variedad de altitudes y climas en esta zona. En el parque viven cinco tipos de felinos: el jaguar, el puma,el margay, el ocelote y el jaguarundi. También hay más de 200 especies de reptiles y anfibios y más de 500 especies de pájaros. Turistas de todo el mundo van a Costa Rica todos los años para admirar esta maravilla tropical. Las visitas de estos turistas ayudan la economía del país y también contribuyen a la protección de sus recursos naturales. Las Islas Galápagos Ecuador, está situado en la parte oeste de América del Sur, es el país más pequeño de la región de los Andes. Gracias a su clima agradable y sus diversos hábitats, tiene una de las colecciones más extraordinarias de plantas y animales exóticos de todo el mundo. Las Islas Galápagos son parte de Ecuador; están en el océano Pacífico, a unas seiscientas millas de la costa ecuatoriana.
9 Las Islas Galápagos son un parque nacional y son famosas por los pingüinos, iguanas y tortugas gigantes que viven allí. Muchos de estos animales están en peligro de extinción. Para conservar el ecosistema del parque, hoy día se limita el número de personas que pueden visitarlo cada año. También se usa el dinero del turismo para proteger las diferentes especies que viven allí. A los científicos les interesa mucho la flora y fauna de las Islas Galápagos. En 1835, el naturalista inglés Charles Darwin llegó a las Islas como parte de una expedición científica de cinco años.
