3 Grammar focus (Enfoque gramatical) Las preguntas negativas sí-no son preguntas que comienzan con una forma verbal negativa. Normalmente usamos este tipo de preguntas para verificar o confirmar algo que creemos o esperamos que sea el caso. E.g.)Isn t he happy? ( No es feliz?) Cómo responder Negativo: Al contestar preguntas negativas sí-no, la respuesta es exactamente la misma que la respuesta a las preguntas positivas. Respondemos "NO" cuando la respuesta es negativa y "SI" cuando la respuesta es positiva. E.g.) Q: Isn t that Yumiko s car? ( No es ese el coche de Yumiko?) A: No, it isn t Yumiko s car. - negative answer (No, ese no es el coche de Yumiko.) B: Yes, it s Yumiko s car. - positive answer (Yes, es el coche de Yumiko.) 3
