2 PROYECTO FAMILIAR PROYECTO FAMILIAR: S O SUOKU U 3 Estimado estudiante, por favor completa esta actividad y tra tu respuesta el miércoles 15 de febrero. Podrás participar en rifas! Considera los siguientes 9 números: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Juega el siguiente juego contra un familiar tuyo: Tú y tu oponente, por turnos, van colocando los números del 2 al 10 en una matriz de 3x3, como en Triqui o en un cuadrado mágico. El jugador que complete una línea (fila, columna o diagonal) cuya suma sea impar, pierde el juego! K 10 Tú quieres evitar completar una línea que sume impar. En este ejemplo, el jugador que completó la segunda columna pierde el juego, porque = 17. Instrucciones: Juega este juego varias veces con tu familia. Tu misión es la siguiente: completar el tablero con los 9 valores, sin perder el juego. Esto significa que todas las líneas deben sumar un número par. Consider the following nine numbers: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Play the following game against a family member: You and your opponent take turns placing the nine values in a 3 x 3 grid, like in a Magic Square, except that whoever completes a line (row, column or diagonal) that adds up to an odd number, loses the game! You want to avoid completing a line adding to an odd number. In this example, the player who completed the second column lost the game, because = 17. Instructions: Play this game several times with your family. Try to do the following: complete all nine squares, without losing the game. This means that all lines add to even numbers (but they can be different even numbers). Show your completed board in the next page

Which countries do they come from? raw pictures of these games! SCHOOL: Complete this board as described in the previous page All integers from 2 to 10 need to appear in the board. 7 CHALLENGE challenge: 6x6 birds and fish We have 36 cards. Each has birds and fish: Between 1 and 6 birds and between 1 and 6 fish. Suppose we draw a card at random: a) What is the probability that a card has exactly 4 birds? b) What is the probability that a card has the same number of birds than fish? c) What is the probability that a card has more birds than fish? d) What is more likely: to draw a card having less than 6 animals or drawing a card having more than 6 animals? A Game: Players take turns choosing cards. At the end of the game, each player will have 18 cards. Each player counts the NUMBER OF FISH and NUMBER OF BIRS he got overall, and calculates the following value N: N = NUMBER OF FISH - NUMBER OF BIRS. Whoever gets the smallest value of N wins the game. e) Can you say in words who wins the game? f) If you start the game, what is the best strategy that comes to mind?
