2 "Enseñanza de vocabulario dentro de una unidad temática". Institución: Escuela Nacional Preparatoria no. 2 Este trabajo es producto de un curso-taller llamado Hilando palabras sobre estrategias y técnicas para aprender vocabulario de L2 impartido por la Dra. Yadira Alma Hadassa Hernández Pérez el interanual pasado. En el marco del uso de una metodología enfocada al desarrollo de la producción oral en nuestros alumnos, los profesores hemos dejado un poco de lado el estudio y la enseñanza de la gramática y el vocabulario. Sin embargo, a diferencia de la enseñanza tradicional, donde se fomentaba la memorización de listas y listas de palabras de manera aislada, aquí se proponen una serie de actividades encaminadas al estudio del léxico, pero específicamente relacionado con una unidad temática y a través de una herramienta tecnológica muy atractiva visualmente que puede motivar y facilitar el aprendizaje de nuestros alumnos. El objetivo de esta ponencia es presentar una estrategia para que los alumnos adquieran vocabulario relacionado con la unidad 4 del programa de estudios de 4º año de bachillerato. Dicha estrategia presenta un grupo de palabras en contexto y pretende que el alumno esté activamente involucrado con su aprendizaje por lo que se requiere de una práctica constante del vocabulario seleccionado así que se desarrollan actividades en las que los estudiantes practican la forma escrita, la pronunciación y el significado.por otro lado, se destacan las bondades de Prezi una aplicación multimedia para la realización de presentaciones por medio de la cual se muestran cada una de las actividades que conforman la estrategia de enseñanza. Las actividades se presentaron en formato antes citado y se planearon para tres sesiones de 50 minutos con el objetivo de que el alumno adquiera vocabulario a través de una práctica intensiva. El proceso para adquirir el vocabulario se debe conformar de un corpus de 24 a 30 palabras que se deberán practicar a lo largo de las tres sesiones para que el alumno logre incorporarlo a sus esquemas mentales. En la etapa inicial se expone al alumno, a través de dos videos, que lo introducen al corpus que va a aprender. Posteriormente, en alumno deberá practicarlo por medio de diferentes tipos de ejercicios o actividades que abarcan la forma escrita, pronunciación, significado y contexto. A continuación se desglosan las actividades y los links de los videos utilizados durante las sesiones:

Then, they will solve a puzzle and a family word scramble exercise to recognize the written form of the words. Finally, they will watch another video in order to listen and repeat the words to practice pronunciation. Session 2: Objective: Students will reinforce the target vocabulary and learn the meaning of the word. The students will solve a cross word puzzle. They will listen to the words and write them on the puzzle. Session 3: Objective: Students will conceptualize the target vocabulary in context and relate it to their previous experiences.
