1 The Y8 Exam will assess: Y8 Spanish Exam (1 hour) your knowledge and recall of vocabulary Your translation skills & ability to apply grammar Your reading comprehension skills Your ability to write at varying lengths in Spanish The Y8 Exam will include the following sections: Part 1 (15 minutes) Section 1: Vocabulary (10 marks) Section 2: Translation (10 marks) (Sp-Eng & Eng Sp) & grammar (10 marks) Part 2 (45 minutes) Section 3: Reading comprehensions Section 4: Written compositions
