You must consider the following before installation: The mounting surface and hardware must be able to support the unit s weight, 6 lbs. ( kg). The area must be within the specified operating temperature range, be in close proximity to a power source or wall outlet, and accommodate signal and/or power conduits. 1. Insert the key into the keyhole, turn clockwise, and remove the back plate as shown. Set the terminal face up on a flat surface. Do not remove the key. 2. Using the back plate as a template, mark the location of the upper mounting hole on the wall. 3. Install a screw or anchor at the mark and hang the back plate from the top mounting hole and level it. Mark the location of the bottom hole, and the cutout for power/communications (if applicable). 4. Install another screw or anchor for the bottom mounting hole and secure the back plate to the wall. 5. Connect one end of the Communications Cable to the RJ-11 jack on the back panel of the terminal. Aún, no remover la llave. 2) Utilizando la cobertura posterior como plantilla, marcar el agujero superior en la pared. 3) Instalar un tornillo o ancla en la marca e instalar la cobertura posterior en el agujero y nivelarlo. Marcar la ubicación del agujero inferior y el orificio para cables de corriente y comunicación (si es aplicable). 4) Instalar el segundo tornillo o ancla en el agujero inferior y montar la cobertura a la pared. 5) Conectar un extremo del Cable de Comunicación al conector RJ-11 en la parte posterior del terminal. 3 6) Conectar el otro extremo del Cable a un puerto de comunicación en el PC (COM1, 2), utilizando el adaptador. NOTA: Si el puerto de comunicación en el PC es de 25-DB, debe utilizarse el adaptador de 9 a 25-DB que está incluído. 7) Colocar el terminal hacia abajo y remover la cinta negra. 8) Instalar el terminal en la cobertura posterior alineando los pernos y verificando que el terminal esté nivelado y asegurado, girando la llave en sentido de las agujas del reloj. 9) Conectar el adaptador AC al toma corriente. El terminal hará lo siguiente: Amano Cincinnati Connect the other end of the cable to an available COM Port of a PC using the Communications Adapter. Note: If the COM Port of your PC is 25-pin, you must use the 25-pin to 9-pin adapter provided. 7. Holding the terminal face down, pull and remove the black paper strip. 8. Re-install the terminal on the back plate by aligning the pins on the back plate with the two tear drop holes and the center of the rectangular cutout on the rear panel. Slide the unit upward until it locks in place and secure it in place by turning the key clockwise. 9. Plug in the AC Power Adapter into an outlet.
