2 2 Una entrevista Each semester the local TV channel interviews a student. In groups of three, prepare an interview (entrevista) and act it out for the class. One person should be the student, and the other two should be the reporters (reporteros). Use as much vocabulary from the lesson as possible and be sure to include: introductions and greetings where he/she is from what he/she studies classes and schedules which classes he/she likes prepositions places in the school -ar verbs present tense of estar Modelo Estudiante 1: Buenos días. Me llamo Alejandra y ella es Daniela. Nosotras somos reporteras del canal local. Deseas contestar unas preguntas? Estudiante 2: Es una entrevista? Estudiante 3: Sí. Estudiante 2: Oh! Hola. 3 3 El horario de clases Your teacher will give you a schedule with the classes you must take this semester, as well as all the electives. You will need to ask your classmates for the day and time of your scheduled classes and they will need to ask you for theirs. Remember to note when your classes are, so that you can share your schedule with the class and say whether you like or dislike the required classes. Modelo Estudiante 1: Hola. Tú tomas matemáticas? Estudiante 2: No. Yo tomo computación, ciencias y biología. Estudiante 1: Biología? Estudiante 2: Sí. Estudiante 1: La clase de biología es los miércoles a las 10 de la mañana. 4 3 El horario de clases Time: 30 minutes Resources: Schedules Instructions: Photocopy the schedules and cut out as many as are needed. Each schedule contains a list of classes the student must take, and information on when elective subjects are offered. Hand each student a schedule and have them circulate among their classmates and get the information they need to complete the schedules (the dates and times of the required classes). Make sure all students participate. Tell them to be prepared to share with the class whether they like or dislike the classes they must take and their class schedule. Lección 2 Comunicación 31
