6 Ministries Information Información de Ministerios Baptism for Children (less than 6 years of age): Baptisms in English are scheduled to be on August 19, 2018 (15 children maximum) Parents must be members of Queen of Peace Parish for at least six (6) months. This means that parents assist Mass every Sunday, tithe, receive formation and are committed to this community. We have no authority to celebrate any baptism if you are not members of this community, or live within the zip codes that correspond to this area (77023 and 77087) Parents interested, please visit the parish office (located on Oakcliff side) from July 16th to August 2nd. You will receive an application and be given the day and time of the baptism preparation/formation. The office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30am-12:00pm and 1:15pm-4:30pm Parents and Godparents will need to: Fill out the application that is provided by the parish office and bring the Original Birth Certificate issued by the Bureau of Vital Statistics (Birth Facts are not accepted) Application and documentation due date is August 2, Assist the baptism preparation/formation day Godparents: If single, must be over 16 years of age; Confirmed practicing Catholics (assist mass every Sunday and receive Holy Communion).
