2 Dash Disassembly 1. Unclip and remove the 2 trim panels surrounding the shifter and pocket. (Figure A) 2. Remove (2) Phillips screws at the bottom left and right side of the radio trim panel. (Figure B) 3. Unclip and remove the radio trim panel including climate control and vents. (Figure C) 4. Remove (4) Phillips screws securing the radio. (Figure D) 5. 3 Dash Disassembly 6. Unclip and remove the Hazard switch from the radio panel. (Figure E) 7. Remove (2) Phillips screws securing the passenger air bag light assembly. (Figure E) 8. Remove (4) Phillips screws securing the climate control to the radio panel. (Figure E) 9. Remove (8) Phillips screws securing the a/c vents then unclip and remove them from the factory panel. 4 Kit Assembly 1. Snap the a/c vents into the a/c vent trim panels. (Figure A) 2. Attach the left and right a/c vent trim panels and the climate controls to the main radio housing panel using the provided (10) #8X1/2 Phillips screws and (2) #8X1/4 Pan head screws. (Figure B) 3. Snap the hazard switch into the main radio housing. (Figure C) Continued on next page (Figure A) (Figure C) NOTE: #8X1/4 Pan head screws must be installed in the indicated locations. (Figure B)

5 Attach the passenger air bag light to the main radio housing using (2) #8X1/2 Phillips screws. (Figure A) 5. Attach the display brackets to the display and mount it back into the dash in the factory location. (Figure B) Continued on next page Kit Assembly (Figure A) (Figure B)

6 ISO DIN head unit provisions 1. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. 2. Attach the DDIN brackets to the aftermarket radio using the screws supplied with the radio, then secure the assembly to the pocket using the (4) supplied #8 Truss head screws. (Figure A) 3. Mount the assembly into the sub dash. 4. Reassemble dash in reverse order of disassembly. (Figure A) Double DIN head unit provisions 1. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. 2. Attach the Double DIN brackets to the aftermarket radio using the screws supplied with the radio, then mount the unit in the sub dash. (Figure B) 3. Reassemble dash in reverse order of disassembly. 8 Desmontaje del tablero Hyundai Sonata Desenganche y retire los 2 paneles de moldura que rodean la palanca de velocidades y el bolsillo. (Figura A) 2. Retire los (2) tornillos Phillips de la parte inferior izquierda y el lado derecho del panel de la moldura del radio. 3. Desenganche y retire el panel de la moldura del radio, incluyendo el control del clima y las rejillas. (Figura C) 4. Quite los (4) tornillos Phillips que sostienen el radio. (Figura D) 5. Quite los (4) tornillos Phillips que sujetan la pantalla y luego quite los soportes de fábrica de la pantalla. (Figura D) Continúa en la página (Figura C) (Figura A) (Figura D)

9 Desmontaje del tablero Hyundai Sonata Desenganche y retire el interruptor de las luces intermitentes del panel del radio. (Figura E) 7. Quite los (2) tornillos Phillips que sujetan el ensamble de la luz de la bolsa de aire del pasajero. (Figura E) 8. Quite los (4) tornillos Phillips que sujetan el control del clima al panel del radio. (Figura E) 9. Quite los (8) tornillos Phillips que sujetan las rejillas del aire acondicionado y luego desengánchelos y quítelos del panel de fábrica. (Figura E) (Figura E)

10 Ensamble del kit Ensamble del kit 1. Coloque a presión las rejillas del aire acondicionado en los panel de la moldura de la rejilla del aire acondicionado. (Figura A) 2. Desenganche las rejillas de los paneles izquierdo y derecho de la moldura de la rejilla del aire acondicionado y luego una las rejillas y el control del clima al panel principal de la carcasa del radio usando los (10) tornillos Phillips #8 x 1/2 suministrados y (2) tornillos de cabeza troncocónica #8 x 1/4. 3. Coloque a presión el interruptor de las luces intermitentes en la carcasa principal del radio. 11 Ensamble del kit Una la luz de la bolsa de aire del pasajero a la carcasa del radio principal utilizando (2) tornillos Phillips #8 x 1/2. (Figura A) 5. Una los soportes de la pantalla a la pantalla y móntela de nuevo en el tablero en la ubicación de fábrica. Continúa en la página Ensamble del kit (Figura A)

12 Ensamble del kit Provisiones de unidad central ISO DIN 1. Ubique el arnés del cableado de fábrica en el tablero. Metra recomienda usar el adaptador de acoplamiento adecuado de Metra o AXXESS. Vuelva a conectar el terminal negativo de la batería y pruebe la unidad para verificar que funcione correctamente. 2. Una los soportes DDIN con el radio de mercado secundario y luego sujete el ensamble al bolsillo utilizando los (4) tornillos de cabeza segmentada #8 suministrados. (Figura A) 3. Monte el ensamble en el sub tablero. 4. Vuelva a montar el tablero en forma inversa al desmontaje. (Figura A) Provisiones de unidad central DDIN 1. Ubique el arnés del cableado de fábrica en el tablero. Metra recomienda usar el adaptador de acoplamiento adecuado de Metra o AXXESS. Vuelva a conectar el terminal negativo de la batería y pruebe la unidad para verificar que funcione correctamente. 2. Una los soportes doble DIN con el radio de mercado secundario y luego monte la unidad en el sub tablero. 3. Vuelva a montar el tablero en forma inversa al desmontaje.
