3 - ADMISIÓN / ADMISSION Marina Sotogrande Classic Week es una regata la cual se participa bajo invitación. En la edición 2018 se ha invitado a la clase 15 Metros Internacional y la Clase J80. Cualquier clase que desee participar deberá enviar su solicitud mediante email a secretaria@clubnauticoespanol.com Marina Sotogrande Classic Week is a regatta which is offered under invitation. In the 2018 edition, the International 15 Meters Class, the Dragon class and the J80 Class have been invited. Any class that wishes to participate must send their request by email to secretaria@clubnauticoespanol.com NICO MARTINEZ 4 - INSCRIPCIONES / REGISTRATION Las solicitudes de clases para participar deberán ser enviadas antes del 30 de Mayo 2018 al Club Náutico Español, Torre de control, Puerto Deportivo Sotogrande, s/n, 11310 San Roque, Cádiz. La inscripción deberá ser completada antes del 4 de Julio 2018 a las 12h00 junto con los siguientes documentos: 1. Lista de tripulación completa con copias de las licencias federativas (obligatorias para los regatistas españoles) y/o cualquier otro documento emitido por la autoridad competente de vela de su respectivo país. (para los regatistas extranjeros). 2. Seguro en vigor garantizando la cobertura del barco en competiciones a vela. Derechos de Inscripción: Los Barcos y las tripulaciones son invitados por Marina Sotogrande y el Club Náutico Español.

Classes Applications must be received by 30th June 2018 at the Club Náutico Español, Torre de control, Puerto Deportivo Sotogrande, s/n, 11310 San Roque, Cádiz. Registration forms must be completed by 4th July 2018 before 12.00am, accompanied by the following documents: 1. Crew list complete with copies of their FEV licences (compulsory for Spanish crew members) and any other relevant document issued by the sailing authorities in the respective countries (for foreign sailors). 2. Insurance certificate, including public liability cover for sailing competitions.. Registration fees: Boats and their crews are invited by Marina Sotogrande and Club Náutico Español. NICO MARTINEZ 5 - REGLAS / REGULATIONS La regata se regirá por las siguientes reglas: 1. Las reglas de regata de la World Sailing 2017/2020 2. El presente Anuncio de Regata 3. Las Instrucciones de Regata 4. Reglas CIM En caso de conflicto el texto en español prevalecerá por encima de cualquier otro.

Races will be governed by: 1. Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) 2017/2020 2. The Notice of Race 3. Sailing Instructions 4. CIM rules In the event of any dispute about interpretation the Spanish text shall prevail. 6 PUBLICIDAD / PUBLICITY AND TYPE OF RACES Para la clase 15 Metros Internacional, el evento será de type C según el «Reglamento C.I.M.» Los participantes podrán lucir publicidad de la entidad organizadora For 15 Meter Class, the event will be a Type C according to the CIM Rules. Competitors can display the organiser s publicity banners. NICO MARTINEZ 7 - RECORRIDOS / COURSES Los recorridos se comunicarán en las instrucciones de regata. Courses will be set out in the Sailing Instructions.

8 INSTRUCCIONES DE REGATA / SAILING INSTRUCTIONS Las instrucciones de regata definitivas estarán disponibles después del completar el registro el día 4 de Julio a partir de 9h00. Sailing Instructions will be available to competitors once their registration has been completed on Wednesday 4th July 2018 from 9.00am onwards. 9 CERTIFICADOS DE MEDICIÓN / RATING CERTIFICATES No serán necesarios los certificados para la Clase 15 Metros Internacional. Rating Certificate will not be necessary for the 15 Meter Class. 10 - CATÉGORIES ET CLASSES / CATEGORIES AND CLASSES Los barcos serán divididos en las siguientes categorías: 1. 15 MJI 2. J80 Yachts will be grouped into the following categories: 1. 15M IR 2. J80 ARNAUD LESNÉ 11 TIEMPOS COMPENSADOS Y CLASES / CORRECTED TIME AND CLASSES Todas las clases compiten en tiempo real, por lo que la compensación de tiempo no aplica. All classes compete in real time, so the time compensation does not apply.

12 - PRE MIOS / PRIX Los premios se entregarán a los tres mejores clasificados de cada clase. Prizes will be awarded to the top three in the final ranking of each class. 13 AMARRES EN PUERTO / BERTHS IN HARBOUR Marina Sotogrande ofrece a los participantes amarre gratuito desde un mes antes de la regata y hasta el día 8 de Agosto. Los días que dura la regata los barcos amarrarán en la Ribera del Marlin, amarres específicos para la regata. El resto de días Marina Sotogrande ubicará a los barcos en los amarres a su conveniencia. Marina Sotogrande offers to participant s free mooring from one month before the race and until August 8th. During the days of the regatta, the boats will moor in the «Ribera del Marlin», specific moorings for the regatta. The rest of the days Marina Sotogrande will locate the boats in the berths at convenience. 14 - SOCIAL / OTHER ACTIVITIES El acto de bienvenida será el día 4 de Julio por la tarde. El programa completo de actividades sociales se adjuntará a las instrucciones de regata The welcome act will be on the afternoon of July 4th.The full programme for other animations will be attached to the Sailing Instructions document.

15 - RESPONSABILIDAD / LIABILITY DISCLAIMER Los inscritos participan en la regata bajo su propio riesgo, ver RRS 4, "Decisión de competir". La autoridad organizadora no aceptará ninguna responsabilidad por daños materiales o lesiones personales o muerte sufrida en conjunto con, o antes, durante o después del evento. Competitors participate in the races entirely at their own risk, see RRS 4, Decision to Race. The organising authority shall not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with, or prior to, during, or after the event. 16 - SEGURO / INSURANCE Cada participante debe presentar el certificado original, emitido por la compañía de seguros, de una póliza de seguro válida que incluya cobertura de responsabilidad civil por un mínimo de 1.5 millones de euros o su equivalente. Each participant must present the original certificate, as issued by the insurance company, of a valid insurance policy including public liability cover for a minimum of 1.5 million Euros or equivalent. 17 DERECHOS DE IMAGEN / IMAGE COPYRIGHT Todos los participantes de Marina Sotogrande Classic Week deberán otorgar, automáticamente y sin ningún recurso o compensación de ningún tipo, a la autoridad organizadora y sus socios el derecho de producir, usar y exhibir cualquier imagen de ellos mismos o de su barco durante el evento y futuras ediciones All Marina Sotogrande Classic Week participants shall grant, automatically and without any recourse or compensation of any kind, the organising authority and its partners the right to produce, use and display any images of themselves or their boat during the event and future editions fo this event.
