All accessories, switches, and especially air bag indicator lights must be plugged in before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition. *NOTE: Refer also to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio. 3 Dash Disassembly Hyundai Elantra Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 2. Remove (2) Phillips screws from under the instrument cluster. 3. Remove ashtray then remove (2) Phillips screws in ashtray cavity. 4. Unclip and remove panel surrounding radio and remove the bezel. (Figure A) 5. Remove (4) Phillips screws securing radio. Continue to key assembly (Figure A) 3

4 Dash Disassembly Hyundai Tiburon Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 2. Unclip and remove the radio trim panel starting with the bottom edge. (Figure A) 3. Remove (2) Phillips screws securing radio. Note: For the Hyundai Tiburon applications you will need to cut and remove the bottom mounting tabs on the DDIN brackets. (Figure B) Continue to key assembly (Figure A) CUT CUT (Figure B) 4

5 Dash Disassembly Hyundai Sonata Kia Optima Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 2. Unclip and remove entire panel surrounding radio. (Figure A) 3. Remove (4) Phillips screws securing radio. Note: The rear support bar in the sub dash will need to be cut and removed for aftermarket radio clearance. 6 Kit Assembly DIN Head Unit Provision with Pocket 1. Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure A) 2. Slide the aftermarket head unit into the cage until secure. (Figure B) (Figure A) (Figure B) 6

11 Desmontaje del tablero Hyundai Elantra Desconecte el terminal negativo de la batería, a fin de evitar un cortocircuito accidental. 2. Retire (2) tornillos Phillips que se encuentran debajo del grupo de instrumentos. 3. Retire el cenicero; luego, retire (2) tornillos Phillips del hueco del cenicero. 4. Desenganche y retire el panel que rodea el radio y retire el marco. (Figura A) 5. Retire (4) tornillos Phillips que sujetan el radio. Continuará al ensamble del kit (Figura A) 3

Desenganche y retire el panel de terminación del radio comenzando con el borde inferior. (Figura A) 3. Retire (2) tornillos Phillips que sujetan el radio. Nota: La barra de apoyo trasero que se encuentra en el subtablero deberá cortarse y retirarse para obtener espacio libre en el radio de posventa.
