3 CARACTERÍSTICAS El detector se utiliza para detectar conductos metálicos, cables eléctricos y vigas de madera en el interior de paredes. Puede utilizarse en la decoración civil, familiar y en otros campos de seguridad. Se aplica en tubos de metal, cables, vigas de madera reforzadas y compartimentos localizados en el interior de paredes de manera rápida y eficiente. El detector es portátil y fácil de usar. Posee un circuito de calibración automático, un adaptador y LED computerizado y un timbre sonoro para su utilización por parte de personas con ceguera. Posee las siguientes funciones: Detección de conductos metálicos en el interior de paredes u otros objetos Detección de cables eléctricos en el interior de paredes u otros objetos Detección de vigas de madera a través de placas de yeso o madera INSTRUCCIONES INSTALACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA Abrir la tapa de la batería Colocar los cables de la batería e instalar la batería de acuerdo con los requisitos de carga de la pila. Insertar la batería en el interior del compartimento y cerrar la tapa. PRECAUCIÓN Este aparato de medición se utiliza con baterías de 9V DC de cloruro no recargables. Si el aparato no va a ser utilizado durante un largo periodo de tiempo, las baterías deberán estar colocadas en un lugar fresco y ventilado para que no se produzcan fugas del fluido. En caso de que el aparato o la batería esté dañada, prestar atención a la protección medioambiental, no deshacerse o quemar arbitrariamente dichos elementos. MÉTODO DE DETECCIÓN Colocar la base del detector (superficie del detector que posee dos zonas con velcro) sobre la superficie donde se necesita detectar objetos. Pulsar el botón de detección. Inmediatamente se encenderá el tercer indicador LED rojo y el indicador verde produciéndose un pitido. Tener el detector cerca de superficies uniformes por medio de movimientos lentos. Cuando el detector está próximo a la detección de objetos (conductos metálicos, cables eléctricos o vigas de madera), el primer indicador LED rojo se ilumina.

4 Continúe moviendo el detector hasta que se ilumine el segundo y tercer indicador LED rojo. Cuando el timbre suene iluminándose los tres indicadores LED rojos a la vez, quiere decir que el detector se está acercando a la detección de objetos. Entonces realizar una marca en dicho lugar mediante un lapicero. Continuar probando y cuando el tercer indicador LED no se ilumine, redireccionar el movimiento del detector. Cuando vuelva a iluminarse sonando el timbre, entonces realizar una marca en dicho lugar. La posición central entre las dos marcas será el lugar en el que se encuentre el objeto a medir (metal, líneas eléctricas o vigas de madera). NOTAS Los resultados de detección pueden ser erróneos en los siguientes casos: Cuando debajo del objeto a medir existe un cuerpo extraño. En este caso se debería elegir un nuevo dato de detección. Cuando la densidad de la organización interna detectada está en mal estado. Si la densidad del tejido interior a medir está en mal estado, alterará el resultado. Cuando durante el proceso de detección, el detector está lejos de la superficie o el botón de detección flojo. Cuando se posee poca batería (cuando la luz verde empieza a destellar, quiere decir que la batería está agotada y se debe reemplazar por otra nueva.) Cuando la temperatura ambiental está por debajo de 0º o por encima de 40ºC.
