Tal garantía es válida sólo si el tejido pierde color o se deteriora de una forma anómala, siguiendo las pautas normales de exposición al sol, de la salinidad, de las condiciones atmosféricas o del ataque del moho y microorganismos. Se excluye el caso en que la transpiración del tejido venga alterada por agentes externos. La garantía no cubre los daños derivados de causas de fuerza mayor. No admite lavado en seco. Se aconseja lavar a mano con agua fría, nunca escurrir ni centrifugar.
