6 4. assembly montaje assembling the ladder Montaje de la escalera Lay the left hand ladder upright on its side. Slot firmly into place the dowels on the ladder rungs into the corresponding pre-drilled holes on the ladder upright Carefully turning the ladder on its side, insert 3 small bolts through the ladder upright into the ladder rungs. Fully tighten these bolts with the Allen key provided. Repeat the above for the right hand ladder upright. Colocar la barra de la escalera izquierda en vertical. Hold the head end in its upright position and locate the dowels from the base side rails into the pre-drilled holes in the head end. Insert 2 barrel nuts inside the base side rail ensuring the slot in the nuts are visible and that they line up with the bolt holes. Insert 2 long bolts through the head end and into the barrel nuts tightening with the Allen key provided. Do not fully tighten at this stage. Repeat the above for the foot end. 10 4. assembly montaje attaching the ladder The ladder can be fitted to either the left or right hand side depending on your individual preference. This instruction booklet shows the ladder fixed in the right hand position. To fix in the left hand position reverse right hand and left hand instructions. Attach the ladder to the foot end of the raised bed by inserting 2 small bolts into the pre-drilled holes using the Allen key provided. Insert the medium bolt through the pre-drilled hole on the inside of the base side rail into the left hand ladder upright. 11 4. assembly montaje attaching the bed base slats. Carefully place the bed base slats on the base side rails and fully extend the slats. Secure the bed base slats in position through the pre-drilled holes using the 6 cross head screws with a cross head screw driver. Adjuntando los listones de la base de la cama. Insert 2 barrel nuts inside the long side support rail ensuring the slot in the nuts are visible and that they line up with the bolt holes. Insert 2 long bolts through the head end and into the barrel nuts tightening with the Allen key provided. Do not fully tighten at this stage. Repeat the above for the foot end. Please note that you may need to loosen the bolts in the base side rails to locate the side supports. Fully tighten all bolts. Adjuntar las barandillas de soporte lateral con el cabecero y el pie de cama. Colocar los travesaños de la barandilla de soporte lateral en los agujeros perforados del cabecero.
