Sus particulares características aseguran: mayor rapidez de colocación eliminación total de las eflorescencias mejora de las características físicas facilidad de limpieza en la obra la aplicación inmediata de los tratamientos antimanchas y ceras de acabado es una garantía contra el hielo eliminándose totalmente los clásicos problemas de la tierra cocida Barcelona PLUS es un protector total contra las humedades, NO de las manchas de aceites y grasas, por ello durante la colocación y hasta el final de la obra debe tenerse precaución en evitarlas. Tratamiento final. - Debe efectuarse con productos de base solvente y no deben utilizarse tratamientos de base acuosa. Se recomienda un programa de productos de tratamiento diseñado para la tierra cocida, según cada tipo o lugar de aplicación. Es aconsejable la supervisión de un profesional que tenga experiencia y esté familiarizado con la colocación y tratamiento de este tipo de baldosas. Las baldosas pueden tener una ligera variación de medidas. Se recomienda instalarlas con una junta de 8 a 10 mm. La tierra cocida tiene normalmente variaciones de color entre las piezas de un mismo lote de producción. Además de la variación de color, algunas piezas pueden tener pequeñas imperfecciones. Estas cualidades son características de las baldosas rústicas y se deben considerar como normales. La variación de las medidas, planimetría, tono y los escantillados, dentro de la normativa establecida, no deben considerar en ningún caso como defectos de producción. Debido a la naturaleza de este material, al efectuar la colocación, es conveniente mezclar piezas de distintas cajas o palets, para conseguir un mejor efecto estético. Como es normal en las baldosas extruidas, se recomienda colocar todas las piezas en el mismo sentido de las estrías que se observan en su parte inferior. Se recomienda utilizar varias piezas representativas de las variaciones de color antes de la decisión final. Una sola muestra puede no ser suficientemente representativa. Por ello, se aconseja utilizar varias piezas para determinar la variación de tonos actualizada. TRATAMIENTO Y MANTENIMIENTO. Debido a su alta absorción de agua, la tierra cocida es delicada y en su estado natural se debe proteger al máximo, poniendo especial cuidado en evitar manchas de las manos, zapatos, cigarrillos, aceite, grasas, etc. y proteger el pavimento con cartón o plástico hasta la terminación de la obra. La baldosa BARCELONA NATURAL se puede tratar con varios sistemas y productos. Cada uno le puede dar un tono y aspecto distintos. Se recomienda efectuar una prueba con varias piezas antes de hacer el tratamiento en el pavimento, para asegurar el efecto deseado y el tratamiento más adecuado según la zona de uso. Para las baldosas BARCELONA PLUS sirven las mismas consideraciones del BARCELONA NATURAL, teniendo en cuenta que el tratamiento a aplicar deber ser de base solvente, no aplicar tratamientos de base acuosa y tener presente que es muy sensible a las manchas de aceite, grasas y alcoholes, etc., si no se le aplica un tratamiento adecuado. Se recomienda tener un programa de productos de tratamiento específicamente diseñado para la tierra cocida, según cada tipo o lugar de aplicación. Como norma general, la baldosa se debe tratar solo cuando el pavimento esté COMPLETAMENTE LIMPIO Y SECO. Debido a posibles errores potenciales en la instalación y tratamiento, se recomienda obtener la colaboración y supervisión de un profesional que tenga experiencia y esté familiarizado con la colocación y tratamiento de éste tipo de baldosas. LÍMITES DE RESPONSABILIDAD. Cerámicas Calaf, S.A. no asume ninguna responsabilidad por la mala colocación y/o tratamiento del material. Es responsabilidad del consumidor asegurar que el producto es adecuado para cada situación o zona de uso. No damos garantía, expresa o implícitamente, de la resistencia abrasiva y antideslizante de la superficie, en cuanto al tratamiento y mantenimiento que se haya realizado. PHOTOGRAPHS. All the colour photographs in this catalogue are intended as a general representation and do not necessarily match the exact colour of the material. SPECIFICATIONS. There may be slight variations of dimensions. An 8 to 10 mm grout is recommended. Terra cotta tiles normally have colour variations between different tiles from the same lot. Apart from colour variations, some tiles may have small imperfections. This is characteristic of rustic tiles and must be regarded as normal. Variations of dimensions, flatness and shade, as well as chipping, within the established standard, are never to be considered production defects. Since this is a natural material, it is advisable to mix pieces from different boxes or pallets during laying in order to obtain a better aesthetic effect. As usual with extruded tiles, it is recommended to lay all the pieces with the grooves on the lower surface running in the same direction. It is advisable to use several pieces representative of colour variations before reaching a final decision. A single sample may not be representative. It is therefore advisable to use several pieces to determine the real variation of shade. TREATMENT AND MAINTENANCE. Due to its high absorption of water, terracotta is delicate and in its natural state must be fully protected, taking special care to avoid stains from hands, shoes, cigarettes, oil, grease, etc., and to protect the paving with cardboard or plastic until the work is finished. The BARCELONA NATURAL paving can be treated with various systems and products. Each one gives a different shade and a different appearance.
