Days & Hours of Operation Monday Friday/7:00 am 10:00 pm Saturday Sunday/9:00 am 5:00 pm. Porterville does not operate on New Year s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day. All other holidays on which Porterville operates, are on the Saturday schedule. Oak Ave Tips for Riders drivers cannot make change so have exact fare ready. Children must be at least 7 years of age to ride the bus without adult supervision. All transit buses are equipped with a wheelchair lift securement system to serve passengers who are physically challenged. Limit your carry-on packages to the size number you can easily hle. Strollers carts must be folded before boarding the bus. Drivers cannot help passengers with carry-on packages. Buses arrive depart from the at 61 West Oak Avenue every 40 minutes. Designated bus stop locations are located along each route. Dial-A-COLT Porterville COLT provides Dial-A-Ride service within the city limits of Porterville, extends to some county areas contiguous to the city limits. Days & Hours of Operation Monday Friday/7:00 am 10:00 pm Saturday Sunday/9:00 am 5:00 pm. Porterville COLT does not operate on New Year s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day. All other holidays on which the COLT system operates, are on a Weekend schedule. Dial-A-Colt Fares One-way General...$5.00 Reduced...$2.50 (Senior 65+/Disabled/Medicare Card Holder) Priority given to Senior Citizens 65 & older, Disabled Medicare card holders. Proper ID will be required which can include driver s license, ADA ID card, Medicare card. ADA reservations may be made up to two (2) weeks in advance; all General Public or Non-ADA passengers are limited to same day trips. Same day trip requests are scheduled depending on availability. For fastest response, plan trips between 9:00 am 1:30 pm 5:30 pm 8:30 pm. Cancellations are requested at least one hour before reservation time.
