Integrated Roadmap del SET- Plan The Integrated Roadmap together with the Ac4on Plan are the first key ac4ons of the European Commission s Communica4on on Energy Technologies and Innova4on, COM(2013)253. The aim of the Integrated Roadmap, in the current context of the EU's energy policy developments, is to consolidate the updated technology roadmaps of the SET Plan and propose research and innova4on ac4ons designed to facilitate integra4on along four axes: the innova4on chain, covering from basic research to demonstra4on and support for market roll- out; the value chain, according to the industrial capaci4es and innova4on poten4al of the various supply chains; the EU dimension, achieving replica4on of solu4ons in different climate and geographic contexts across Europe; and the energy system, fulfilling the societal needs in a compe44ve, secure, efficient, and sustainable way.

ENERGY UNION The European Union's energy strategy is driven by three main objec4ves: 1. providing secure and reliable energy supplies; 2. crea4ng a compe44ve energy market that ensures affordable energy prices; 3. and crea4ng sustainable energy by lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Crea4ng a European Energy Union is one of President Juncker's poli4cal priori4es. The Energy Union will be based on five key priori4es: Ensuring security of supply for Europe Deeper integra4on of EU na4onal energy markets Reducing EU energy demand Reducing carbon emissions from the energy sector Promo4ng research and development in energy The Energy Union Communica5on was published of February 25th

43 Consejos prác5cos: 4º paso: Preparar una propuesta excelente Escribir una propuesta europea es una tarea ardua y cara. Conviene hacerlo con tiempo. El Abstract de la propuesta es la primera impresión que se va a llevar el evaluador. Clarifica tus ideas y exponlas de manera ordenada. Los aspectos horizontales son importante: género, ética, open access, 5º paso: Revisar la propuesta El coordinador debe asegurar la homogeniedad del texto Los NCPs pueden ayudarnos revisando la propuesta desde el punto de vista formal y gratis!

44 Consejos prác5cos: 6º paso: Presentar la propuesta La propuesta se puede presentar tantas veces como queramos antes de que el plazo expire. No se debe esperar al último momento, porque es cuando el sistema puede fallar 7º paso: La evaluación de la propuesta.
