Proposed, developed and taught a new Film Studies Course: Spanish Film Noir (winter 03). Designed and taught third year level Oral Skills, Span-307 in Spanish to advanced students from the Spanish department (01-02, 02-03). Developed and taught nineteenth and twentieth-century literature courses in Spanish to advanced students in Spanish literature program, Span-317. This survey course covered poetry, political discourse and narrative fiction from Spain (02-03, 04-05). Proposed, developed and taught new courses in English: Spanish Identity Through Cinema and Crossing Borders, Making Identities. These courses served to introduce students to Spanish Cinema and Cultural Studies. The first seminar presents a chronological thematic view of Spanish identity, and the second

3 addresses the issue of immigration, racism and xenophobia in contemporary Spain (01-02, 02-03).
