1 Certificado de Asistente de Oficina Los estudiantes interesados en obtener este Certificado deben cumplir con los siguientes requisitos: Ser estudiante activo en la Facultad de Administración de Empresas, Artes y Ciencias, Ciencias Agrícolas o Ingeniería. El estudiante deberá someter el formulario de solicitud en la Oficina del Instituto de Administración de Oficinas (AE-151), y entregar los documentos que sean requeridos antes de las fechas límites correspondientes. Las fechas límites para ingreso al Programa de Certificado en Administración de Oficinas estarán sujetas a las fechas de Readmisión y Traslado Interno establecidas por la Junta Administrativa cada año académico. Poseer un promedio general mínimo de 2.00 al momento de solicitar. Tomar un total de cuatro (4) cursos requisitos y un (1) curso de la lista de electivas. Obtener una calificación de C o más en cada uno de los cursos del Certificado. El Certificado se otorgará al estudiante una vez complete los requisitos de graduación de su Facultad. 3 Office Assistant Certificate The College of Business Administration in unison with the Institute of Office Administration within the interest to attend to the necessities of the student population of the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus has designed an Office Assistant Certificate. General Objectives Enable to help students of other faculties of the University, as well as the students of the College of Business Administration, a viable alternative has been designed which will enable these participants with the opportunity to handle office matters more efficiently. Learning Objectives After completing this certificate, the student will be able to: Operate office equipment of the highest information technology. Operate by touch the keyboard applying the correct techniques. Create office documents. Processing and applying the correct techniques to file records. Develop procedures to handle efficiently the office processes. Requirements: The students interested in obtaining this Certificate must fulfill the following requirements: Be an active student in the Faculty of Business Administration, Arts and Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, or Engineering. The student should have to submit the request form in the Institute of Office Administration (AE-151), and the documents that are required before the deadlines. The deadline for admission to the Office Administration Certificate Program will be the same established every academic year by the Administrative Board for Readmission and Internal Transfers. To have a minimum general average of 2.00 when the request form is submitted. Take a total of four (4) required courses and one (1) elective course. Obtain a grade of C or more in each one of the Certificate courses.
