2 PUNKTAL Lea atentamente las instrucciones antes de utilizar el aparato ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD Elija un lugar cerca de un tomacorrientes. Verifique el buen estado de la línea y el toma. Antes de enchufar el calefactor asegurese de que el cable este en buen estado. No colocar el aparato inmediatamente debajo del toma corriente de la pared. Antes de la puesta en marcha compruebe que la tensión de la alimentación corresponda con la indicada en la placa del aparato. Al desconectar la ficha de conexión no tire nunca del cable. Estos aparatos estan provistos de protector térmico. Sin embargo, asegurese que durante su funcionamiento no se instale en lugares donde pueda privar la correcta circulación de aire ni proyectando el calor sobre muebles ni cortinas. No utilizar el aparato en el entorno inmediato de una bañera, ducha o piscina, de un cortinado o de cualquier elemento que contenga tela. No utilizar éste producto con un programador, o minutero u otro dispositivo que ponga el calefactor en funcionamiento en forma automática, ya que existe peligro de fuego si el calefactor estuviera cubierto o en posicion incorrecta el aparato. No use el producto sobre una alfombra de pelo largo Verifique que el cable no pase por la parte frontal del caloventor. Evite la exposicion del mismo el flujo de calor. IMPORTANTE SI EL CORDON DE ALIMENTACION ESTA DAÑADO, DEBE SER REEMPLAZADO, PARA EVITAR PELIGROS, POR EL SERVICIO TECNICO AUTORIZADO. NO CUBRIR EL APARATO NI TOTAL NI PARCIALMENTE YA QUE PUEDE PROVOCAR DEFORMACIONES DE LOS ELEMENTOS QUE LO COMPONEN. NO COLOCAR EL CABLE POR DELANTE DEL EQUIPO. 2.

3 FUNCIONAMIENTO 1. Gire el interruptor del termostato al valor mínimo, al mismo tiempo gire el selector de potencia a la posición O. 2. Enchufe el aparato, y gire el interruptor del termostato a la máxima posición. Luego gire el selector de potencia para elegir aire frio o caliente y la temperatura de aire caliente como se indica abajo en el punto 3. 4 SISTEMA DE SEGURIDAD 1. Para evitar riesgo al ser humano o daño a sus componentes internos, el calefactor posee un sistema de seguridad, que apagara el aparato automáticamente cuando este sobrepase la temperatura de seguridad. Si esto ocurriera: a. Gire el interruptor de selección de potencia a la posición O, gire el interruptor del termostato a la mínima posición y saque el enchufe de la pared. b. Compruebe que la salida del aire se hace suavemente, y si el aparato esta colocado en la posiscion adecuada. c. Deje que el calefactor se enfrie durante 8 a 10 minutos antes de que empiece a funcionar de nuevo. d. Enchufe el aparato. Si no funciona con normalidad saque el enchufe inmediatamente de la pared y llevelo al servicio de reparacion. MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA 1. Antes de apagar el aparato coloque el interruptor de selección de potencia en la posición I. Dejelo funcionar durante 3 a 5 minutos pra bajar la tempertura interna del aparato, luego gire el selector de calor a la posición O. 2. Limpie la entrada y salida de aire regularmente (al menos dos veces al año normalmente). 3. Antes de limpiar el calefactor, apáguelo, luego saque el enchufe de la pared, y espere hasta que se enfrie. 4. Use solo un trapo humedo para limpiar la superficie, evite que el agua llegue dentro del aparato, y sequelo antes de usarlo o guardarlo. 4.

6 PUNKTAL Carefully read the instructions before using the appliance SAFETY WARNINGS Choose a spot near an outlet. Check the condition of the line and the outlet. Before connecting the electric heater sure the cable is in good condition. Do not place the unit directly below the wall outlet. Before starting using it, check that the supply voltage corresponds to that indicated on the rating plate. When disconnecting the connection tab never pull the cord. These devices are fitted with thermal protector. However, make sure that during operation is not installed where it may deprive the correct airflow and heat projecting on furniture or curtains. Do not use the unit in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or swimming pool, with a curtain or anything that contains fabric. Do not use this product with a programmer, timer or other device or put the heater into automatic operation, to avoid risk of fire if the heater was covered or out of position the device. Do not use the product on a long pile carpet Check that the cable does not pass through the front of electric heater. Avoid exposure of the same heat flux. 7 OPERATION 1. Turn the thermostat switch to the minimum value, while turning the power switch to "O". 2. Plug the unit, and turn the thermostat switch to the top position. Then turn the power selector to choose hot or cold air and warm air temperature as indicated below in section 3. 8 SECURITY SYSTEM 1. To avoid risk to humans or damage to internal components, the heater has a safety system that automatically shut off the unit when the temperature exceeds safety. If not functioning normally immediately remove plug from the wall and take it in for repair. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING 1. Before turning off the set position the power selection switch to position I.
