2 ES CARACTERÍSTICAS TÉCNICAS Calentador convector POTENCIA DE ENTRADA: 1800W-2000W MARGEN DE TENSION NOMINAL: AC V 50Hz IMPORTANTE: Lea estas instrucciones completamente antes de usar el calentador. Conserve estas instrucciones para referencia futura. MONTAJE DEL CALENTADOR Antes de usar el calentador, las patas (suministradas por separado en la caja de cartón), deben instalarse en la unidad. Estos han de ser unido a la base del calentador usando los 4 tornillos con rosca suministrados, teniendo cuidado de asegurarse de que están correctamente ubicados en los extremos inferiores de los laterales del calentador

3 INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD (para ser leídas antes de operar el calentador) 1) No utilice el calentador a menos que las patas estén conectadas correctamente. Esto si el calentador se utiliza como aparato portátil. 2) Asegúrese de que la fuente de alimentación a la que se conecta el calentador está de acuerdo con la etiqueta de clasificación del calentador y de que el enchufe está conectado a la toma de tierra. 3) Mantenga el cable lejos del cuerpo caliente del calentador. 4) El calentador no se debe de usar en baños, lavaderos o lugares similares. Nunca coloque el calentador en donde se pueda caer en la bañera u otro recipiente con agua. 5) No utilizar en exteriores. 6) No cubra ni obstruya ninguna de las rejillas de salida de calor o las aberturas de entrada de aire de la calefacción. 7) No coloque el calentador en alfombras que tienen un pelo muy denso.

4 8) Asegúrese siempre de que el calentador se coloca sobre una superficie firme y nivelada. También de que el calentador no se coloque cerca de cortinas o muebles, ya que podría provocar un incendio. 9) No coloque el calentador en frente de, o inmediatamente a continuación de un enchufe de pared. 10) No inserte ningún objeto a través de la toma de corriente o de las rejillas del calentador. 11) No utilice el calentador en áreas donde se almacenen líquidos inflamables o donde los vapores inflamables puedan estar presentes. 12) Se debe tener especial cuidado cuando el calentador se encuentra en las zonas ocupadas por niños o personas inválidas. 13) No utilice el calentador si el cable eléctrico está dañado. Si el cable de alimentación está dañado, deberá ser reemplazado por un agente de servicio cualificado o por otra persona calificada. Si el enchufe está dañado, consulte los detalles de reemplazo de enchufe abajo. 14) Los niños pequeños deben ser supervisados para asegurarse de que no jueguen con el aparato.

5 15) Este aparato no está diseñado para ser utilizado por personas (incluidos niños) con discapacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales, o con falta de experiencia y conocimiento, a menos que sean supervisados o instruidos acerca del uso del aparato por una persona responsable de su seguridad. FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL CALENTADOR NOTA: Es normal que cuando los calefactores están encendidos por primera vez o cuando se activan después de no haber sido utilizado durante un largo período de tiempo, los calentadores pueden emitir olor y humos. Esto desaparecerá después que el calentador haya estado encendido por un corto periodo de tiempo.

6 Calentador de convección con termostato NVR-9505 CVT Elija un lugar adecuado para el calentador, teniendo en cuenta las instrucciones de seguridad anteriores. Inserte el enchufe del calentador en una toma de corriente adecuada. Gire el mando del termostato en sentido horario completamente a la posición máxima. Encienda las resistencias de calor por medio de los interruptores ubicados en el panel lateral. Cuando las resistencias de calor estén encendidas los interruptores se iluminarán. Para la máxima salida de calor ambos interruptores deben estar encendidos. Cuando se ha alcanzado la temperatura deseada, el termostato debe girarse lentamente hacia la izquierda hasta que el termostato se oiga haciendo clic y se apaguen las luces de los interruptores en señal de apagado. Después de esto el calentador mantendrá la temperatura del aire en la habitación a la temperatura establecida por el encendido y apagado automático del aparato.

7 Calentador de convección con termostato y ventilador NVR-9506 CVT Todas las instrucciones de arriba para el modelo NVR-9505 CVT (arriba) también se aplican al modelo NVR-9506 CVT. El modelo NVR-9506 CVT tiene incorporado un ventilador interno, que se puede activar de forma independiente a las resistencias de calor. Funcionamiento del ventilador: Este es operado por medio del interruptor que tiene el símbolo de ventilador al lado de él. El ventilador sólo funcionará con el termostato cuando este esté encendido, y se puede utilizar cuando las resistencias de calor estén encendidas para echar aire caliente en la habitación. En condiciones de calor, el ventilador se puede utilizar con las resistencias de calor apagadas para echar aire fresco en la habitación. LIMPIEZA DEL CALENTADOR Siempre desenchufe el calentador de la toma de corriente y deje que se enfríe antes de limpiarlo. Limpie el exterior del calentador frotando con un paño húmedo y pula con un paño seco. No utilice detergentes ni productos abrasivos y no permita que el agua entre en el calentador.

8 ALMACENAMIENTO DEL CALENTADOR Cuando el calentador no se utiliza durante largos periodos de tiempo debe ser protegido contra el polvo y almacenarse en un lugar seco y limpio. Proceso correcto de desecho de este producto

Retain these instructions for future reference. ASSEMBLY OF THE HEATER Before using the heater, the feet (supplied separately in the carton), must be fitted to the unit. These are to be attached to the base of the heater using the 4 self-tapping screws provided, taking care to ensure that they are located correctly in the bottom ends of the heater side moldings

10 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (to be read before operating the heater) 1) If the heater is used as a portable appliance, do not use the heater unless the feet are correctly attached. 2) Ensure that the power supply of the socket which the heater is plugged is in accordance with the rating label on the heater and that the socket is earthed. 3) Keep the mains lead away from the hot body of the heater. 4) The heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas or similar indoor locations. Never place the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. 5) Do not use in outdoors. 6) Do not cover or obstruct any of the heat outlet grilles or the air intake openings of the heater. 7) Do not place the heater on carpets having a very deep pile. 8) Always ensure that the heater is placed on a firm level surface. Ensure that the heater is not positioned close to curtains or furniture as this could create a fire hazard. 9) Do not position the heater in front of, or immediately below, a wall socket. 10) Do not insert any object through the heat outlet or air intake grilles of the heater.

11 11) Do not use the heater in areas where flammable liquids are stored or where flammable fumes may be present. 12) Particular care should be taken when the heater is situated in areas occupied by children or invalids. 13) Always unplug the heater when moving it from one location to another. 14) Do not use the heater if the power cord is damaged. If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by a recognised service agent or other qualified person. If the plug is damaged, see Plug Replacement details below. 15) Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 16) This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device such as a timer or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

12 OPERATION OF THE HEATER NOTE: It is normal when the heaters are turned on for the first time or when they are turned on after having not been used for a long period of time the heaters may emit some smell and fumes. This will disappear when the heater has been on a short while. Convector heater with thermostat NVR-9505 CVT Choose a suitable location for the heater, taking into account the safety instructions above. Insert the plug of the heater into a suitable socket. Turn the thermostat knob fully in a clockwise direction to the maximum setting. Turn on the heating elements by means of the rocker switches on the side panel. When the heating elements are on the switches will illuminate. For maximum heat output both switches should be on. When the desired room temperature has been reached, the thermostat knob should be turned slowly anti-clockwise until the thermostat is heard to click off and the lights on the element switches are seen to go out. After this the heater will keep the air temperature in the room at the set temperature by switching on and off automatically.

13 Convector heater with thermostat and fan NVR-9506 CVT All the above instructions for model NVR-9505 CVT (above) also apply to model NVR-9506 CVT. Model NVR-9506 CVT also incorporates an internal fan, which can be switched on independently of the heating elements. Fan Operation: This is operated by means of the switch with the fan symbol along the side of it. The fan will only operate with the thermostat in the on position and can be used when the heating elements are on to blow warm air into the room. In warm conditions the fan can be used with the heating elements off to blow cool air into the room. CLEANING THE HEATER Always un-plug the heater from the wall socket and allow it to cool down before cleaning. Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp cloth and buff with a dry cloth. Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to enter the heater.

14 STORING THE HEATER When the heater is not used for long periods of time it should be protected from dust and stored in a clean dry place. Correct Disposal of this product
