Gran gala de los Premios Líricos Teatro Campoamor Los Premios Líricos Teatro Campoamor tienen el objetivo de apoyar y potenciar la actividad lírica española y reconocer lo más destacado de la escena, englobando tanto la ópera como la zarzuela. La ceremonia de entrega de premios tendrá lugar en la Gala- Concierto que se celebrará en el Teatro Campoamor de Oviedo el día 26 de agosto y contará con la participación de la orquesta Oviedo Polifonía y la Capilla Polifónica Ciudad de Oviedo. Campoamor Theater Grand Gala of Vocal Awards The Campoamor Theater Vocal Awards is to support and strengthen Spanish vocal activity and recognize the best on the scene, focusing as much on the opera as on the zarzuela, for which the Campoamor Theater Vocal Awards were created. Del Cómic al Musical Mortadelo y Filemón El Teatro Campoamor de Oviedo acogerá, en la primera quincena de julio, el estreno mundial del musical Mortadelo y Filemón. Este musical es el primero íntegramente español y viene a conmemorar el 50 aniversario de este cómic, del dibujante Ibáñez, que ha hecho reír a varias generaciones y que ha vendido más de 150 millones de ejemplares traducidos a 10 idiomas. Será un espectáculo para todos los públicos que recreará las divertidas aventuras de estos singulares personajes, y que hará un recorrido por los distintos estilos musicales más populares entre las décadas de los 60 a los 80. Este cómic ha tenido un gran éxito en otros formatos como el cine y la televisión y ahora, pondrá música a la sonrisa de los espectadores en un musical que viene de la mano del exitoso productor asturiano José Velasco. La dirección del montaje se le ha encargado al catalán Ricard Reguant, que ha sido responsable de otros musicales como Grease, West Side Story o Cantando bajo la lluvia. La premier de Mortadelo y Filemón será en el Teatro Campoamor, que cambiará momentáneamente su clásico y serio ambiente lírico por la desenfadada y espectacular producción de este original musical. Después de su estreno en la capital asturiana, la obra recorrerá los escenarios de Madrid y Barcelona donde, sin duda, cosechará grandes éxitos, como han hecho las historietas durante los últimos 50 años. 6
From the Comic to the Musical "Mortadelo and Filemon" The world premiere of the musical Mortadelo and Filemón will take place during the first two weeks of july in the Campoamor Theater of Oviedo. This musical is the first entirely Spanish musical and commemorates the 50th anniversary of the comic, by cartoonist Ibáñez, who has made several generations laugh and who has sold more than 150 million copies translated into ten different languages. It will be a spectacle for all ages that will recreate the fun adventures of these unique characters, and that will journey through the different musical styles that were most popular in the 60 s, 70 s and 80 s. This comic has been greatly successful in other formats such as cinema and television, and now, it will set the audience s smiles to music in a musical that comes from the successful Asturian producer José Velasco. The direction of the set has been given to Catalunyan Ricard Reguant, who has been responsible for other musicals such as Grease, West Side Story and Singing in the rain. The premiere of Mortadelo and Filemón will take place in the Campoamor Theater, which will instantly change its classical and serious vocal atmosphere for the carefree and spectacular production of this original musical. After its premiere in the Asturian capital, the show will travel to the stages of Madrid and Barcelona, where without a doubt, it will harvest great success, as have the comic stories over the last 50 years. 7
