1 Dual Language Immersion Program (DLI) Do you live in the Elvehjem or Kennedy attendance area? Do you have a child entering 5K in the fall? Come to Glendale to learn more about our bilingual program 1201 Tompkins Drive Thursday, April 10 in the LMC at 6pm If you have not yet heard, your home attendance area school has access to a Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program at Glendale Elementary School with transportation provided. Dual Language Immersion is a wonderful opportunity for all families with children entering 5-Year Kindergarten in the fall. Please contact the Glendale School Office at ( ) with any questions.
2 Dual Language Immersion Informational Sessions Dual Language Immersion (DLI) is an academic program that takes place during the regular school day. Children are taught in both Spanish and English starting in Kindergarten. Please come and learn more! 3 Dual Language Immersion (DLI) DLI students learn to read and write in Spanish and English. Spanish and English speaking children serve as teachers and learners in the DLI classroom. Families have the opportunity to provide their children with a Spanish-language immersion program and cross-cultural exchange.
