Temperature During the month of September, the average temperature in Santiago de Chile, ranges from 6º C to 20 º C, with an average relative humidity of 58%. 8. Exchange rate and Credit cards The local currency is the Peso Chileno. It is advisable to exchange money at banks or authorized money exchange agencies. The exchange rate is $ 564 per US$ Dollar. International credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express are commonly accepted in hotels, shops and restaurants. 9. 7 7 - ATTACHMENT Plan in the event of earthquakes During the earthquake a) Stay calm. b) Move away quickly from block Wall. Do not use elevators. c) Locate a place that you can go to be safe. d) Evacuate the building if conditions permitted. e) Follow the instructions carefully. After the eathquake f) Evacuate the building before to avoid aftershocks. g) Evacuate staying calm, quickly and safety following the evacuation routes. h) Stay in the evacuation area until Security Staff ensure there is no risk inside the building.
