NEXUS Comexi has designed equipment for the lamination sector that is capable of carrying out many different jobs with the highest levels of reliability. NEXUS dual can operate with or without solvents, in addition to its operation with Cold seals, Heat seals, lacquers, varnish and even one colour rotogravure printing and flexo, all with or without register. Such a broad range of applications, combined with the possibility of incorporating even more modules, such as turret reel splicing or the upgrade to Dual plus, makes it an exceptional machine and explains why versatility is the key concept behind it. The drying tunnel: A high performance drying tunnel ensures the evaporation of solvents or water. Its air volume can be regulated and it features air recycling and solvent level control features (LEL). The system is fully controlled by advanced electronics. Laminating group: The laminating group is composed of a heated cylinder manufactured in steel, plus an additional cylinder coated with a high density rubber layer and a third cylinder arranged to make pressure against the other two, achieving a transparent operation that guarantees the absence of air bubbles. Tension control: The pneumatic compensators installed in the unwinder and rewinder allow the maintenance of an accurate tension control at all times. The dancer roller position is read by an inductive analogue sensor without a mechanical joint, avoiding possible future adjustments. ROTOGRAVURE HUECOGRABADO FLEXO SOLVENTLESS Rotogravure trolley: Designed for the application of solventbased and water-based adhesives, the trolley is easy to remove and securely locked onto the frames. It can be used for jobs with accurate register requirements. An engraved rotogravure (totally or partially) cylinder is included in the supply. Su modularidad permite diversas configuraciones con cambios de bobina automáticos en los desbobinadores y rebobinador o la configuración Double Head la cual permite aplicar un recubrimiento junto con una laminación con un solo paso del material.
