The wall or mounting surface must be capable of supporting the combined weight of the mount and the display; if not, the structure must be reinforced. 3. Locate pipes, wires, or any other hazards in the wall where you wish to install the mount before drilling. 4. Safety gear and proper tools must be used. Failure to do so can result in injury or damage. 5. Two people are recommended for installation. Do not attempt to lift a heavy display without assistance. 6. Follow all instructions and recommendations regarding adequate ventilation and suitable locations for mounting your display. Consult the owner s manual for your particular display for more information. 7. This product contains small parts that could be a choking hazard if swallowed. Please keep these parts out of the reach of small children. 8. Before starting assembly, verify all parts are included and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, do not return the damaged item to your dealer, contact customer service. Never use damaged parts! **CAUTION** This wall mount is intended for use only with the maximum weight of 77lbs. (35kg). Use with heavier than the maximum weight indicated may result in instability causing possible injury.

Spacer (x4) DRYWALL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS **IMPORTANT** For safety reasons, this mount must be secured to a wood stud capable of supporting the combined weight of the mount and display. Do not mount to drywall alone. The manufacturer takes no responsibility for failure caused by walls of insufficient strength. **IMPORTANT** If installing the mount into a concrete block or brick surface, never drill into the mortar between blocks or bricks. YOU MUST SECURE THE MOUNT TO THE CONCRETE BLOCK OR BRICK. 1. Use a high quality stud finder to locate a stud where you wish to install your mount. Mark both edges of the stud to help identify the exact center. **NOTE** You must use the center of the stud to avoid cracking or splitting the wood during installation. 2. Place the wall plate against the wall over the marked stud. Make sure it is level and the arrow on the mount is pointing up. 3. Mark two locations (top and bottom) for securing the mount to the wall (see Fig.1) and set the wall plate aside. 4. Drill a 1/8 (3mm) pilot hole at each marked location. 5. Place the wall plate back against the wall and attach it using two (2) of the drywall screws (A) provided (see Fig. 2). Do not over-tighten these screws. Ensure that the wall plate remains level after both screws are secured and the arrow is pointing up. Fig. 2 CONCRETE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS **IMPORTANT** For safety reasons, the concrete wall must be capable of supporting the combined weight of the mount and the display. The manufacturer takes no responsibility for failure caused by walls of insufficient strength. 1. Place the wall plate against the wall in the desired location. Make sure it is level and the arrow on the mount is pointing up. 2. While another person holds the wall plate Fig. 3

4 3 in place, mark three locations on the wall for securing the mount. Mark two locations at the top of the wall plate and one location at the bottom of the mount (see Fig. 3). 3. Set the wall plate aside and drill a 5/16 (8mm) hole at each marked location. Remove any excess dust from the holes. 4. Insert a concrete anchor (B) into each hole so that it is flush with the concrete surface (see Fig. 4). A hammer can be used to lightly tap the anchors into place if necessary. Fig. 4 **NOTE** If the concrete wall is covered by a layer of plaster or drywall, the concrete anchor must pass completely through the layer to rest flush with the concrete surface. 5. Place the wall plate back against the wall and attach it using the drywall screws (A) provided (see Fig. 5). Do not over-tighten these bolts. Ensure that the wall plate remains level after all bolts are secured and the arrow on the mount is pointing up. ATTACHING THE DISPLAY PLATE TO THE DISPLAY **IMPORTANT!** Use extra care during this part of the installation. If possible, avoid placing your display facedown as it may damage the viewing surface. **NOTE** This mount comes with a selection of different screw diameters and lengths to accommodate a wide variety of display models. Not all of the hardware in the kit will be used. If you cannot find the appropriate screw size in the kit provided, contact the manufacturer of your display for more information. 1. Determine the correct length of screw to use by examining the back of your display: a. If the back of your display is flat and the mounting holes are flush with the surface, you will use four (4) of the shorter screws (C or E) from the hardware kit. b. If the back of your display is curved, has a protrusion, or if the mounting holes are recessed, you will need to use the longer screws (D or F) and may also need to use the spacers provided (H) (see Fig. 6). 5 4 2. Determine the correct diameter of screw to use by carefully trying one of each size (M4 and M6) from the hardware kit. Do not force any of the screws if you feel resistance, stop immediately and try a smaller diameter screw. 3. Attach the display plate to the back of your display using the screws identified in steps 1 and 2 (see Fig. 6) along with the M6 washers (G). If you are using the longer screws on a display with a curved or recessed back, you may also need to use the spacers (H). However, you should only use a spacer if necessary. **NOTE** If the holes of the mount do not line up with the holes on your display, check to make sure that your display is VESA compatible. This mount can only be used with displays that are VESA 50, VESA 75, VESA 100, VESA 100 x 200, or VESA 200 compatible. Consult the manufacturer of your display for more information. FINAL ASSEMBLY 1. To complete the installation, carefully slide the display plate with your display attached into the wall plate. Do not release the display until the display plate is securely placed in the wall plate. If you need to remove the display from the wall, carefully slide the display plate upwards and out of the wall plate. Fig Insert two (2) of the M4 x 12 screws (C) into the bottom of the mount and tighten to prevent the display from being lifted from the wall plate (see Fig. 7). Remember to take out these screws before attempting to remove the mount from the wall. **IMPORTANT** These screws should be tightened at all times to prevent the display from being accidentally knocked from the mount. 3. Periodically clean your mount with a dry cloth. Inspect all screws and hardware at regular intervals to ensure that no connections have become loose over time. Re-tighten as needed. ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Jasco Products Company warrants this product to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the original date of consumer purchase. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of this product only and does not extend to consequential or incidental damage to other products that may be used with this unit. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Coloque la placa de pared contra la pared y fíjela usando dos (2) tornillos para yeso (A) provistos (véase la Fig. 2). No apriete los tornillos demasiado. No lo instale directamente a la pared de yeso. El fabricante no asume responsabilidad alguna de las fallas causadas por paredes que no son suficientemente resistentes. 1. Use un localizador de montantes de calidad para encontrar un montante en donde desee instalar el soporte. Marque ambos bordes del montante para poder identificar el centro exacto. **NOTA** Debe usar el centro del montante para evitar que se agriete o raje la madera durante la instalación. 2. Coloque la placa contra la pared sobre el montante marcado. Asegúrese de que esté nivelado y la flecha del soporte quede mirando hacia arriba. 3. Marque dos ubicaciones (arriba y abajo) para asegurar el soporte a la pared (véase la Fig. 1) y deje a un lado la placa para la pared. 4. Perfore un orificio guía de 3 mm (1/8 ) en cada ubicación marcada. MONTAJE A LA PARED (DE HORMIGÓN) ** IMPORTANTE!** Por razones de seguridad, la pared de hormigón debe poder soportar el peso combinado del soporte y la pantalla. El fabricante no asume responsabilidad alguna de las fallas causadas por paredes que no son suficientemente resistentes. ** IMPORTANTE!** Si va a instalar el soporte en un bloque de hormigón o superficie de ladrillo, nunca perfore en el mortero entre los bloques o ladrillos. DEBE ASEGURAR EL SOPORTE AL BLOQUE DE HORMIGÓN O LADRILLO. 1. Coloque la placa contra la pared en el lugar deseado. Asegúrese de que esté nivelada y la flecha del soporte quede mirando hacia arriba. 2. Mientras otra persona sostiene la placa en su lugar, marque tres lugares en donde fijará el soporte. Marque dos lugares arriba de la placa y uno abajo del soporte (véase la Fig. 3).

10 3 Fig Deje a un lado la placa para la pared y perfore un orificio de 8 mm (5/16 ) en cada lugar marcado. Quite el polvo de los agujeros. 4. Coloque un anclaje para hormigón (B) en cada orificio de modo que quede nivelado con la superficie de hormigón (véase la Fig. 4). Con un martillo puede golpear suavemente los anclajes para que queden bien colocados en su lugar, de ser necesario. Fig. 4 **NOTA** Si la pared de hormigón tiene una capa de yeso, el anclaje de hormigón debe atravesarla por completo y quedar nivelado a la altura de la superficie del hormigón Coloque la placa de pared contra la pared y fíjela usando los tornillos para yeso (A) provistos (véase la Fig. 5). No apriete estos tornillos demasiado. Asegúrese de que la placa quede nivelada una vez colocados todos los tornillos y que la flecha quede mirando hacia arriba. Fig. 5 FIJAR LA PLACA DE LA PANTALLA A LA PANTALLA ** IMPORTANTE!** Realice esta parte de la instalación con sumo cuidado. De ser posible, evite colocar la pantalla mirando hacia abajo ya que podrá dañar la superficie de visualización. **NOTA** Este soporte viene con una variedad de tornillos de distintos diámetros y longitudes para utilizarse con distintos modelos de pantalla. No necesitará usar todos los tornillos que vienen con el kit. Si en el kit provisto no puede encontrar el tamaño de tornillo adecuado, comuníquese con el fabricante de la pantalla para obtener más información. 1. Determine el tornillo que necesita al mirar la parte posterior de la pantalla: a. Si la parte posterior de la pantalla es plana y los orificios de montaje está alineados a la superficie, deberá usar cuatro (4) tornillos cortos (C o E) provistos en el kit. b. Si la parte posterior de la pantalla es curva y se proyecta hacia fuera, o si los orificios de montaje están en bajo relieve, necesitará usar tornillos largos (D o F) y es posible que necesite usar los espaciadores provistos (H) (véase la Fig. 6). 11 Determine el diámetro que debe tener el tornillo que usará al probar con cuidado cada tamaño (M4 y M6) de tornillo provisto en el kit. No fuerce el tornillo: si siente resistencia, descarte ese tornillo de inmediato y pruebe un tornillo de menor diámetro. 3. Coloque la placa a la parte posterior de la pantalla con los tornillos que identificó en los pasos 1 y 2 (véase la Fig. 6) junto con las arandelas M6 (G). Si utiliza los tornillos más largos para una pantalla con parte posterior curva o en bajo relieve, posiblemente necesite usar los espaciadores (H). Solo deberá usar los espaciadores si son necesarios. **NOTA** Si los orificios del soporte no están alineados con los orificios de la pantalla, asegúrese de que su pantalla sea compatible con VESA. Este soporte se puede usar solo con pantallas que son compatibles con VESA 50, VESA 75, VESA 100, VESA 100 x 200 o VESA 200. Consulte al fabricante de la pantalla para obtener más información. ENSAMBLAJE FINAL 1. Para finalizar la instalación, con cuidado deslice la placa con la pantalla fijada a ésta en la placa de la pared. No suelte la pantalla hasta que haya quedado bien sujetada en su lugar en la placa de la pared. Si necesita sacar la pantalla de la pared, con sumo cuidado deslice la placa de la pantalla hacia arriba y fuera de la placa de la pared. 2. Inserte dos (2) de los tornillos M4 X 12 (C) en la parte inferior del soporte y ajústelos bien para que la pantalla no se pueda salir de la placa de la pared (véase la Fig. 7 )Recuerde quitar estos tornillos antes de intentar quitar el soporte de la pared. ** IMPORTANTE!** Estos tornillos deben siempre estar bien ajustados para evitar que la pantalla se salga accidentalmente del soporte. 3. Limpie el soporte con un paño seco con regularidad. Inspeccione los tornillos de manera periódica para asegurarse de que ninguno se haya aflojado con el tiempo. Vuelva a ajustarlos de ser necesario.
