CABLE MOUNT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CYLINDERS! CAUTION: Risk of Fire or Electric Shock LED Surface, Pendant & Cable Mounted Cylinder installation requires knowledge of luminaires electrical systems. If not qualified, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualified person. For Cable Mounting: Step : Attach mounting strap (included) to junction box using screws (2) and tighten. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS This fixture must be installed in accordance with local, federal codes and the NEC. 1. Read all instructions completely before beginning. Keep these instructions in safe place for future reference. 2. To reduce risk of fire and over-heating, make sure all connections are tight. 3. Turn off the electrical power before proceeding. Step : Slide strain relief over power cord and compress. Step : Insert power cord through largest hole of junction box cover and secure in place using strain relief. Step : Make wire connections in junction box. To ensure proper wiring, see wiring diagrams on pages 3 & 4. 1 2 Step : Place junction box cover over junction box sliding mounting strap stud through center hole of cover. 3 4 Step : Attach Swivel Coupling with cable threaded thru center to mounting strap and tighten to secure junction box cover firmly to ceiling. Step : Remove reveal from top of cylinder. 5 6 A Step : A Insert griplock cable adjustor into center hole of reveal. B Insert power cord and secure in place using strain relief. Important: If cord length requires adjusting, determine length, cut cord and strip leads before attaching to reveal. 7 8 B Step : Loosen cable adjustor. Step 11 : With cable locked in place to the desired length, cut excess cable and slide crimp sleeve onto cable and crimp. Step 12 : Re-attach safety cable to reveal as shown. Step 13 : With safety cable attached to reveal, make wiring connections. To ensure proper wiring, see wiring diagrams on pages 3 & 4. Step 14 : Attach cylinder housing to reveal by aligning screws to slots in reveal, pushing housing up and twisting slightly. Tighten screws to secure in place. Step 15 : Optional: Cable and power cord maybe banded together using wire ties (included). Step 16 : Trim gasket provided seperately and must be installed on to trim flange. 11 12 13 14 15 GASKET Step 17 : Insert trim into housing until trim flange seats firmly against housing. Para Montaje en Cable: Paso : Sujete la tira de montaje (incluida) a la caja de empalmes usando tornillos (2) y apriete. Paso 11 : Con el cable fijado en su lugar al largo deseado, corte el cable excedente y deslice el manguito de compresión en el cable y comprima. Paso 12 : Vuelva a colocar el cable de seguridad al telar como se muestra. Paso 13 : Con el cable de seguridad sujeto al telar, haga las conexiones del cableado. Para asegurar un cableado correcto vea los diagramas de conexiones en las páginas 3 y 4. Paso 14 : Sujete el cilindro de la carcasa al telar alineando los tornillos a las ranuras en el telar, presionando la carcasa hacia arriba y girando levemente. Apriete los tornillos para fijar en su lugar. Paso 15 : Opcional: El alambre y el cable de alimentación se pueden juntar usando amarres (incluidos).
