4 Must Read Don t lose the Serial Number on the back of this booklet; you will need it to activate your STEP on S2H.COM The STEP is not waterproof; so please don t get it wet. The battery inside your STEP can be replaced with a 1.5V LR-43 button cell battery. The STEP is a pedometer, it measures only walking. Some activities like running may not register properly. For a basic account at S2H.COM, you are allowed only one upload per day. English 1

5 Turning On Your STEP Your STEP comes turned off from the factory; to turn it on, you will need to pull the plastic tab located on the side of the STEP. Once you pull the tab, you will see the letters S2H displayed on the screen. You re now ready to set the TIME and DATE. LCD SCREEN PULL TAB MODE BUTTON SET BUTTON English 2

6 Setting the TIME Press the MODE button until you see the word TIME displayed. Now press and hold the SET button until you see the number 12 or 24 flashing. Use the MODE button to choose between 24 hour and 12 hour then use the SET button to select. Continue to use the SET button to cycle through the remaining settings (HOURS, MINUTES & SECONDS) and use the MODE button to adjust the appropriate number. Once you set SECONDS you will move on to setting the DATE. If you do nothing for 10 seconds, you will exit the TIME & DATE setup mode. English 3

7 Setting the DATE Press the MODE button until you see the word TIME displayed. Now press and hold the SET button until you see the number 12 or 24 flashing. Press the SET button four times until you see the Month and Day flashing. Use the MODE button to cycle between Month/Day and Day/Month, and the SET button to select the date display format. Now you can set the date; use the MODE button to set the Month or Day, depending on your display format. Press the SET button to move on to the next selection. Once you re done press SET again to exit. English 4

8 How to Wear Your STEP To properly wear your STEP, simply clip it onto your belt. The closer it is to your body the better. Don t clip it to loose clothes or sleeves. Make sure the STEP is mounted in a vertical position to your body and that it stays relatively vertical in both axes English 5

9 Getting to 10,000 Steps Your STEP needs to accumulate 10,000 steps in order to reveal a Reward Code. To see the steps that you have walked, press the MODE button until the word STEPS appears. The display will count from 0 to 10,000. Your STEP will count even if it s in TIME, DATE, and CODE mode. If you want to clear out the step count, simply press the MODE and SET buttons for 4 seconds. 10 Viewing Your Reward Code When you have earned 10,000 steps, your STEP will generate a Reward Code. Your 12 digit Reward Code will be revealed in four parts as shown below. At this point you can do one of two things; (1) you can clear the earned Reward Code by pressing MODE and SET for 4 seconds or (2) you can store the Reward Code in CODE mode. You can also clear the Reward Code in CODE mode by pressing MODE and SET for 4 seconds. English 7

11 Storing Your Reward Code When you earn a Reward Code in STEPS mode, you can store it in CODE mode simply by pressing SET. The Reward Code will be pushed into CODE mode, and your step count will be reset to zero. You can earn a new Reward Code while one is stored in CODE mode. If you earn a Reward Code in STEPS mode while one is stored in CODE mode, you will have to either (1) clear out the Reward Code in STEPS mode or (2) clear out the stored code in CODE mode and push the recently earned Reward Code into CODE mode; this will allow you to start counting more steps. 12 Uploading Your Reward Code at S2H.COM Congratulations, you are now one step away from earning your S2H POINTS. Login to S2H.COM and click on the Upload Reward Code link in the MY ACCOUNT section, then enter the 12 digit Reward Code that is displayed on your LCD Screen. Sample Code C1AFHZITU3YL UPLOAD Always remember to write down your Reward Code because once you clear the Reward Code from your STEP, it cannot be retrieved! English 9

13 Taking Care of Your STEP If the display begins to fade after approximately two years, you can simply replace the battery by removing the screw on the back cover. You can replace it with a 1.5V LR-43 button cell battery. BATTERY Cleaning your STEP is simple; just wipe it down with a soft damp cloth. If there are any tough stains, you can use a little bit of soap to get them out. Do not use any harsh chemicals such as acetone or alcohol, as they may damage the product. English 10

18 Importante No pierdas el Número de Serie situado en el dorso de este libro. Lo necesitarás para activar tu STEP en S2H.COM El STEP no es resistente al agua. Por favor mantenlo alejado del agua. La batería del STEP puede ser remplazada por una batería LR-43 de 1,5V. El STEP es un podómetro, sólo registra pasos al andar. Algunas actividades como correr pueden no ser registradas correctamente. Utilizando una cuenta SH2 básica sólo podrás subir un código por día. Español 1

19 Enciende tu STEP El STEP viene apagado de fábrica. Para encenderlo deberás tirar de la tira plástica situada en el lateral del aparato. Una vez extraída la etiqueta plástica, verás las letras S2H en la pantalla. Ahora ya estás listo para configurar la HORA y la FECHA. PANTALLA ETIQUETA BOTÓN MODE BOTÓN SET Español 2

20 Programa la HORA Aprieta el botón MODE hasta que veas la palabra TIME en la parte inferior de la pantalla. A continuación mantén apretado el botón SET hasta que veas el número 12 o 24 parpadeando. Utiliza el botón MODE para elegir entre el modo de 12 o 24 horas y aprieta el botón SET para seleccionar. Presione repetidas veces el botón SET para navegar por el menú (HORA, MINUTOS y SEGUNDOS) y utiliza el botón MODE para ajustar cada parámetro. Una vez programados los SEGUNDOS serás redirigido a la configuración de la FECHA. Si no hace nada durante 10 segundos saldrás del modo de configuración de FECHA y HORA. Español 3

21 Programa la FECHA Aprieta el botón MODE hasta que veas la palabra TIME en la parte inferior de la pantalla. A continuación mantén apretado SET hasta que veas las opciones 12 o 24 parpadeando. Aprieta el botón SET cuatro veces hasta que veas el Mes y el Día parpadeando. Utiliza el botón MODE para cambiar entre el modo Mes/Día y Día/Mes y SET para seleccionar el modo deseado. Ahora puedes configurar la fecha; utiliza MODE para seleccionar el día o el mes según el formato previamente seleccionado. Presiona SET para avanzar a la siguiente sección. Una vez hayas terminado, presiona SET para salir de la configuración. Español 4

22 Como Utilizar tu STEP Para utilizar el STEP de forma correcta simplemente póntelo en el cinturón. No lo coloques sobre prendas sueltas o mangas. Asegúrate que el STEP está en posición vertical con respecto a tu cuerpo y que está relativamente vertical en ambos sentidos Español 5

23 Conseguir Pasos Tu STEP tiene que acumular pasos antes de revelar un Código Para ver cuantos pasos llevas acumulados aprieta el botón MODE hasta que veas la palabra STEPS en la parte inferior de la pantalla. Aquí verás un numero entre el 0 y el El STEP contará los pasos que des aunque se encuentre en los modos TIME, DATE o CODE. Si quieres poner el contador de pasos a cero simplemente mantén presionados los botones MODE y SET durante 4 segundos. Español 6

24 Cómo Visualizar tu Código Una vez acumulados pasos el STEP generará un Código. El Código estará compuesto de 12 dígitos y se mostrará en cuatro como se indica a continuación. Llegados a este punto tiene dos opciones; (1) puedes borrar el Código presionando los botones MODE y SET durante 4 segundos o (2) puedes almacenra tu código en el modo CODE.. También puedes eliminar el Código del modo CODE apretando MODE y SET durante 4 segundos. Español 7

25 Almacana tu Código Cuando un Código es revelado puedes almacenarlo en el modo CODE apretando el botón SET. El Código será almacenado en CODE y el contador de pasos pasará a cero. Puedes conseguir otro Código mientras mantienes el primero almacenado en CODE. Si consigues un nuevo Código mientras aún tienes un Código en CODE tienes dos opciones; (1) borrar el Código del modo STEPS o (2) eliminar el Código del modo CODE y almacenar en él el nuevo Código. Esto te permitirá seguir generando un nuevo Código. Español 8

26 Sube tu Código a S2H.COM Enhorabuena, sólo estás a un paso de sumar tus PUNTOS S2H. Visita S2H.COM y haz click en el apartado Subir Código bajo el menú MI CUENTA para introducir los 12 dígitos de tu pantalla LCD. Código de Ejemplo C1AFHZITU3YL SUBIR Recuerda apuntar siempre tus Código en papel ya que una vez los hayas borrado de tu STEP no los podrás voler a recuperar! Español 9

27 Mantanimiento de tu STEP Si la pantalla pierde intensidad pasados aproximadamente dos años puedes remplazar la baria quitando el tornillo de la tapa posterior. Puedes remplazar la bateria por una LR-43 de 1,5V BATERÍA Limpiar tu STEP es muy sencillo; simplemente frótalo con un trapo o pañuelo. Si algunas marcas aún persisten puedes usar un poco de jabón para sacarlas. Nunca utilices productos químicos como la acetona o el alcohol para limpiar tu STEP ya que estos productos pueden dañarlo de forma permanente. Español 10
