Teaching methodology Theoretical-practical classes where the lecturer presents concepts and theoretical knowledge, together with illustrative examples, and then the students complete exercises with the support of the lecturer if needed, to practice the explained concepts. The students, working in small groups, will carry out a work about a topic proposed by the faculty, and will expose it during the last week of the course. Learning objectives of the subject To understand and analyze the vehicle as a complete mechanical system. To know the subsystems that make them up and how to analyze their behavior knowing the characteristics that define them. 1 / 5

3 Content (ENG) - Descripció general del vehicle, història, sistemes que el composen, modelització... Learning time: 8h Theory classes: 4h 30m Self study : 3h 30m Evolució històrica de l'automòbil fins els nostres dies, elements que composen un automòbil i modelització d'aquest per al seu estudi. Conèixer la cronologia històrica de l'automòbil i tenir una visió introductória d'aquest des del punt de vista enginyeril. (ENG) - Prestacions: el vehicle com a màquina, dinàmica longitudinal i lateral Learning time: 18h 30m Theory classes: 6h 30m Estudiar els vehicles com a màquina, motor-receptor, i introduïr conceptes bàsics de dinàmica longitudinal i transversal. Related activities: Identificar el vehicle com una màquina i aplicar-hi els coneixements genèrics de la mecànica. (ENG) - Cadena de transmissió: Elements, anàlisi, característiques, pneumàtics... Learning time: 18h 30m Theory classes: 6h 30m Descripció dels elments que componen la cadena de transmissió i les seves característiques, per tal de fer-ne una anàlisi dinàmica. Estudiar la cadena de transmissió, com a sistema motor, reductor, receptor i ser capaç d'obtenir les prestacions bàsiques del vehicle. 3 / 5

4 (ENG) - Direcció: Elements, anàlisi, paràmetres... Learning time: 12h 30m Theory classes: 4h 30m Self study : 8h Descriure els elements que componen el sistema de direcció, definir els paràmetres que la carateritzen i avaluar les trajectòries d'un vehicle sense lliscament. Estudiar la direcció sota un punt de vista geomètric i calcular-ne el seu comportament en funció de les seves cotes. (ENG) - Suspensió: Elements, centres de balanceig, molles i amortidors... Learning time: 34h 30m Theory classes: 14h 30m Self study : 2 Exposició dels elements que composen la suspensió i les diferents tipologies, així com l'anàlisi de 1/4 de vehicle i el seu comportament. Conèixer els elements que composen els sistemes de suspensió i obtenir-ne el seu comportament, en casos simples. (ENG) - Frens: Elements, anàlisis del sistema... Learning time: 2 30m Theory classes: 8h 30m Decripció dels elements que composen els sistema de frenada d'un vehicle i associar el seu comportament a la dinàmica longitudinal. Calcular les capacitats del sistema de frenada en funció de les característiques d'aquest i del vehicle que l'equipa. 5 Regulations for carrying out activities To conduct the exams, the students can have only basic writing tools (pencils, erasers, etc.) and calculator.
