2 Installation Steps Step 1. Shut off water supply. Disconnect and remove old faucet. Remove new faucet from package. Place gasket on bottom of faucet. Pasos Para La Instalación Paso 1. If lavatory is uneven or gasket does not properly seal, use of silicone sealant in place of gasket may be required. Screw locknuts onto threaded shanks and hand tighten. No wrench is required. A wide variety of water connections are used depending upon the age of your home and its geographical location. Following are two of the must common installations. 3 Step 4. Install pop-up. Paso 4. Instale el desagüe automatico. Installation Instructions For Pop-Up Models RP19017, RP19157, RP19157PB, and RP19191PB Step 1. Remove flange and screw nut and washer down toward pivot as far as possible. Push gasket down to nut and washer. Step 2. Remove tailpiece and apply Teflon tape to threads. Replace tailpiece. Step 3. Apply silicone sealant liberally to underside of flange. Insert pop-up assembly up through bottom of lavatory drain hole. Screw flange back on and secure. Step 4. With pivot facing toward faucet, pull pop-up straight down into drain hole and secure gasket, washer and nut. DO NOT TURN POP-UP WHILE TIGHTENING NUT OR SILICONE MAY NOT SEAL DRAIN. Step 5. Slip nut over horizontal rod and tighten onto pop-up body. NOTE: Pop-up stopper may be installed as removable or non-removable. Position stopper in body accordingly. Step 6. Position spring clip over selected hole in strap. Insert horizontal rod through spring clip and strap. Step 7. Insert lift rod down through spout and top of strap. 4 Step 5. IMPORTANT: After installation is complete, remove aerator, turn handles to full on position. Turn on water supplies, check for leaks and let lines flush for one minute without moving faucet handles. This will remove debris from lines which can damage internal parts of faucet and create leaks. After flushing shut off water at faucet and replace aerator. Paso 5. 5 IF FAUCET LEAKS FROM SPOUT Replace seats and springs, Repair Kit RP SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES. Remove handle by unscrewing set screw or top screw. 2. Unscrew and remove bonnet nut. 3. Pull stem unit straight out.* 4. Remove seat and spring and replace with a new seat and spring. NOTE: Refer to insert for proper seat and spring installation. Reassemble faucet in reverse order. IF LEAK PERSISTS Replace stem unit assembly, Repair Kit RP2083.* SI LA LLAVE TIENE FUGAS EN LA SALIDA Reemplace los asientos y resortes con el Equipo para Reparaciones RP CIERRE LOS SUMINISTROS DE AGUA. Remove aerator and flush faucet, check for large debris and replace aerator. IF REDUCED FLOW IS STILL NOTED Clear springs of debris and flush system. Flush lines by opening water supplies SLIGHTLY! We recommend placing a bucket over the valve opening to prevent water spray. Repeat procedure on other valve.
