1 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Atrius Indoor Positioning with AE1BN for Indy L-Series Gen 4 Instructions Whip-mounted AE1BN: 1. Follow standard installation instructions provided with the luminaire. 2. Locate the AE1BN whip attached to the luminaire junction box. 3. Make sure that shroud assembly legs are fully seated and sitting flat on the ceiling that the shroud is sitting on - there should be no material, especially metallic objects, between the shroud assembly and the ceiling material under the shroud. *Note - Ceiling material below the shroud must also be non-metallic for AE1BN system to work properly Fully Seated (Correct) Not Fully Seated (Incorrect) 4. Make note of the orientation of the first shroud assembly in relation to a reference wall of the installation. For Surface, Pendant, and Cable-Mount Cylinders, make note of orientation of shroud assembly attached to recessed octagonal junction box. **NOTE: IT IS CRITICAL THAT ALL SHROUD ASSEMBLIES BE PLACED IN THE SAME ORIENTATION TO ENSURE ACCURATE INDOOR POSITIONING (Fig. A on next page). IF THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE DUE TO PLENUM OBSTACLES (HVAC, DATA CABLING, ETC.), IT IS CRITICAL TO AT MINIMUM HAVE THE SHROUD ASSEMBLIES ALL ORIENTED IN THE SAME DIRECTION (Fig. B on next page). 5. Notez l'orientation du premier ensemble d'enveloppe par rapport à un mur de référence de l'installation. Pour les cylindres en surface, suspendus et à monture à câble, notez l'orientation de l'ensemble d'enveloppe fixé au boîtier de connexion encastré. **REMARQUE: IL EST CRITIQUE QUE TOUS LES ENSEMBLES DE MONTURE SOIENT ORIENTÉS DE LA MÊME FAÇON POUR GARANTIR UN POSITIONNEMENT À L'INTÉRIEUR PRÉCIS (Fig. A à la page suivante). SI CE N'EST PAS POSSIBLE DU FAIT D'OBSTACLES DANS LE VIDE TECHNIQUE (CVC, CÂBLAGE DONNÉES, etc.), IL EST CRITIQUE AU MINIMUM DE FAIRE EN SORTE QUE TOUS LES ENSEMBLES D"ENVELOPPES SOIENT ORIENTÉS DANS LA MÊME DIRECTION (Fig. B de la page suivante). 5. Répétez les étapes 1 à 4 pour les luminaires restants, en orientant les fouets AE1BN restants dans le même endroit relatif que cela est indiqué dans l'étape S.
