Continuando con nuestra política de respeto al medioambiente que iniciamos con la implantación de la norma ISO 14001:2007, conscientes de los nuevos retos que nuestra empresa tiene que afrontar y con el objetivo de aportar valor añadido a nuestros productos, el Centro Tecnológico del Calzado de La Rioja lanzó junto con ROBUSTA, en el año 2009, un proyecto sobre ECODISEÑO cuyo objetivo es facilitar la incorporación de criterios medioambientales en el diseño y desarrollo del calzado. Para desarrollar este proyecto con calzado de seguridad y uso profesional se eligió a ROBUSTA por su importante concienciación en políticas de compromiso medioambiental y capacidad innovadora. El proyecto presenta una serie de ventajas inherentes en la nueva política de desarrollo de productos entendidas por la Dirección, Departamento de I+D+i y Diseño de ROBUSTA. Producto más responsable con el medio ambiente. Reducción de costes de fabricación gracias a la optimización de procesos. Optimización de los recursos disponibles. Incremento de la calidad del producto final. Refuerzo de la imagen del producto y de la marca. Y unos objetivos que buscan, Obtener productos que a lo largo de su ciclo de vida tengan el menor impacto posible en el medio. Transmitir la visión estratégica del Ecodiseño como un factor de competitividad e innovación. Conocer todos los aspectos ambientales que puedan generarse en nuestra empresa. Recopilar mejoras e incorporar criterios medioambientales en el diseño y desarrollo de nuestro calzado que reduzcan el impacto final. MÉTODO. El método aplicado por ROBUSTA considera los impactos medioambientales en todas las etapas del proceso de diseño y desarrollo de productos, para lograr productos que generen el mínimo impacto medioambiental posible a lo largo de todo su ciclo de vida. Continuing with our policy of respect for the establishment of ISO 14001:2007, aware of the new challenges that our companies have to deal with and the aim of add value to our products, the Centre for Footwear Technology from La Rioja launched with ROBUSTA, in 2009, a project about ecodesign requirements designed to facilitate the incorporation of environmental criteria in the design and development of footwear. To develop this project with safety shoes and professional use ROBUSTA was chosen owing to his important political awareness of environmental commitment and innovative capacity. The project presents a number of advantages inherent in new product development policy understood by ROBUSTA management, R+D+I Department and design department.
