Instrument to address the policies of OHS performed by the different relevant actors in an integrated, rational and coherent way. 5 Spanish Strategy on Safety and Health at Work ( ) 2012) OBJECTIVE 6. PROMOTE TRAINING IN OCCUPATIONAL RISK PREVENTION To promote and consolidate an OSH culture, training in risk prevention must begin in the educational system. Qualified workers must have a solid training in OSH. The educational system must provide qualified OSH professionals to enterprise level. Therefore, the Spanish Strategy underlines the need of a National Plan for Training in Occupational Risk Prevention to address those priorities in a comprehensive way.

6 The National Plan for Education and Training in Occupational Risk Prevention (approved at the end of 2010) includes, among others, the actions necessary to integrate risk prevention in : EDUCATIVE SYSTEM XIX OSH CONGRESS- ISTAMBUL- SEPT National Plan for Education and Training in OSH Basic education (until 16 years) University education Vocational education Professional Training for Employment Osh professionals training Specific Group training

7 National Plan for Education and Training in OSH The National Plan proposes similar actions for the first 4 levels: Integration of OHS in all Educational Studies Plans (mainstream topic or specific subject) Teachers and Professors training in OSH Designing and review of training support documentation Integration of OHS in the management of educational centres

8 National Plan for Education and Training in OSH Vocational education 2006 Vocational Education General Regulation Only in the titles for professions which need it, OS&H subject will be included Integration of OS&H in other modules (according to each subject) July new Vocational Education General Regulation Integration of OS&H in all Vocational Titles Plans Specific subject: with the minimun hours and structure to perform basic level functions according to os&h legislation Integration of OS&H in other modules (according to each subject)
