10th Sunday in Ordinary Time And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, Do not weep. (Luke 7:13) This verse is a great reminder that the Stewardship lifestyle is one of service, putting God first and to love one another. Unfortunately today, many people have passion for activities they enjoy - their job and off -work activities. Many times our passion to excel is at the expense of someone else. Maybe we need to focus on a little less passion for our individual concerns and a lot more compassion for others. "Father God, we thank you for these graduating students. We pray that you will give them direction, purpose, and perseverance as they enter the next phrase of their lives. Give them clearness of mind to move forward into the plans and purposes that You have for them. May these young people gain wisdom from You and have discernment for proper behavior. Raise up Christian mentors for these graduates so they have someone who holds them accountable for their actions. We pray that they will rise above ungodly behaviors and have the boldness to stand up for what is right wherever they work, study, or socialize. Congratulations! The Rite Of Christian Initiation For Adults (RCIA) process, is open to all who want to become a member of our Catholic Church. Who is eligible to participate in the RCIA process? Children 7 years and older who have not been baptized. Adults 16-18 years and older who have not been baptized nor received Christian initiation sacraments such as First Communion or Confirmation.
