3 NPLAD SUPERINTENDENT NPLAD SUPERINTENDENTE As we begin a new era in our fellowship, we are committed to bringing the NPLAD family to a closer relationship with each other. We desire that all of our District family reach out to help those who need our help, begining within our Churches, our communities and to the world. Join me in reaching out with God s Love and compassion, that everyone may know we truly love and care for them. I firmly believe this Benjamin Franklin made this powerful statement in the 1700 s! He was referring to a quote from the Holy Scriptures found in Psalms 127:1, Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it As we go through this coming year 2015 day by day, week by week and month by month, I strongly believe that God has great things for us to do! If we include Him in our planning we will accomplish His purpose for our life, church, and for our District. We must keep our eyes on Jesus and seek God s direction each and every day, lest we labor in vain and accomplish not His purpose. Without a doubt we can accomplish great things on our own. We have some very talented individuals, the level of accomplishments has greatly increased, the ability of so many has been enhanced, but no matter what we have done all the Glory belongs to God. We dare not do Christianity without Christ, we dare not tackle the affairs of our church without God, dare walk the Christian walk without Jesus? Brothers and Sisters let us allow God to lead us in all that we do, let us come together to bring Harmony to our churches and our District, let us seek the Presence of the Holy Spirit that He would show up at each and every event. Let us put our eyes on Jesus; He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. May God richly bless each and every one of us as we confront the challenges of the New Year Your friend, A medida que empezamos una nueva era en nuestra comunión, estamos comprometidos a traer la familia NPLAD a una relación más estrecha entre sí. Deseamos que toda nuestra familia Distrital alcance a ayudar a aquellos que necesitan nuestra ayuda, empezando con nuestras Iglesias, nuestras comunidades y al mundo. Únanse conmigo en alcanzar con el amor y la compasión de Dios, que todos puedan saber que los amamos verdaderamente y cuidamos de ellos. Creo firmemente esto Benjamin Franklin hizo esta poderosa declaración en la era de los 1700! Se refería a una cita de las Sagradas Escrituras que se encuentra en Salmos 127: 1, A menos que el SEÑOR edifique la casa, en vano trabajan los que la edifican... A medida que avanzamos a través de este próximo año 2015 día a día, semana a semana y mes a mes, creo firmemente que Dios tiene grandes cosas para que hagamos! Si nosotros lo incluimos en nuestra planificación vamos a lograr su propósito para nuestra vida, la iglesia, y para nuestro Distrito. Debemos mantener nuestros ojos en Jesús y buscar la dirección de Dios cada día, no sea que el trabajo sea en vano y no logremos su propósito. Sin duda podemos lograr grandes cosas por nuestra cuenta. Tenemos algunos individuos muy talentosos, el nivel de logros ha aumentado en gran medida, la habilidad de muchos se ha mejorado, pero no importa lo que hemos hecho toda la gloria pertenece a Dios. No hay que atrevernos a hacer el cristianismo sin Cristo, no hay que atrevernos a enfrentar los asuntos de nuestra iglesia sin Dios, nos atreveremos a caminar el camino cristiano sin Jesús? Hermanos y hermanas permitamos que Dios nos guíe en todo lo que hacemos, unámonos para traer armonía a nuestras Iglesias y nuestro Distrito, busquemos la presencia del Espíritu Santo que Él aparezca en cada uno de los eventos. Pongamos los ojos en Jesús, Él es el Autor y Consumador de nuestra Fe.
