3 LITURGY OF THE WORD FIRST READING Deuteronomy 6: 3-9 En aquellos días, Moisés le dejo al pueblo: Escucha, Israel, los mandamientos del Señor y cúmplelos, para que te vaya bien y llegues a ser un pueblo numeroso, conforme a lo que te ha prometido el Señor, Dios de tus padres, quien te dará una tierra que mana leche y miel. Escucha, Israel: El Señor, nuestro Dios, es solamente uno. Amarás al Señor, tu Dios; con todo tu corazón, con toda tu alma, con todas tus fuerzas. Graba en tu corazón los mandamientos que hoy te he transmitido. Incúlcaselos a tus hijos y háblales de ellos cuando estés en tu casa o cuando vayas de camino, cuando te acuestes y cuando te levantes. Átalos a tu muñeca como una señal, y serán una señal en tu frente. Escríbelos sobre la puerta de tu casa. For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but, following their own desires and insatiable curiosity, will accumulate teachers and will stop listening to the truth and will be diverted to myths. But you, be self-possessed in all circumstances; put up with hardship; perform the work of an evangelist; fulfill your ministry. GOSPEL Luke 4: Vino a Nazaret, donde se había criado; y en el día de reposo entró en la sinagoga, conforme a su costumbre, y se levantó a leer.
