Catechetical Congress The annual diocesan Catechetical Congress, open to the public, will be held Aug. 11, 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Bishop O Dowd High School, 9500 Stearns Ave., Oakland. Speakers include the vice president of Life Teen, the executive director of Courage International, and the director of evangelization and parish life for the Miami Archdiocese, along with Bishop Michael Barber and local experts.
