3 INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD Lea atentamente las siguientes instrucciones de seguridad antes de usar la unidad: Revise que el voltaje del área corresponda al voltaje de la unidad antes de conectarla al tomacorriente. Advertencia! No sumerja esta unidad en agua o en cualquier otro liquido. Así mismo, mantenga la unidad alejada de lugares húmedos, como por ejemplo baños, bañeras, etc. Si usa la unidad en un baño, desconéctela del tomacorriente después de cada uso, ya que puede ocurrir un accidente incluso cuando la unidad este apagada. Para una protección adicional, recomendamos que instale un dispositivo de corriente residual (RCD) con una corriente de funcionamiento residual nominal no superior a 30 ma en el circuito eléctrico que alimenta el baño. Consulte a su electricista para mayor información. Tenga mucha precaución cuando use la unidad con o cerca de niños pequeños o personas con capacidades especiales. Mantenga la unidad fuera del alcance de los niños. Nunca bloquee las entradas de ventilación de la unidad. Si la unidad se sobrecalienta, esta se apagara automáticamente. Si esto sucede, desconéctela del tomacorriente y espere hasta que se enfríe. Antes de encenderla nuevamente, revise que las entradas de ventilación no se encuentren obstruidas. No dirija el flujo de aire hacia sus ojos o zonas sensibles. No permita que la unidad se moje ni la manipule mientras tenga las manos mojadas. No use esta unidad con un propósito diferente al que fue diseñada. No hale el cable de la unidad innecesariamente. Así mismo, no envuelva el cable de energía alrededor de la unidad. Revise el cable de energía regularmente en busca de daños. Un cable dañado puede ser muy peligroso. Si el cable de energía de la unidad se encuentra dañado, este debe ser reemplazado por un agente calificado. Apague la unidad siempre que la coloque sobre la mesa, aunque sea por un periodo de tiempo muy corto. Desconecte la unidad siempre después de cada uso. Conecte la unidad al tomacorriente. 2. Encienda la unidad seleccionando el ajuste de temperatura deseado. Use la siguiente información como referencia: 2: Calor máximo 1: Calor Medio 0: Apagado 3. Seque el cabello haciendo movimientos de cepillado y manteniendo el secador a una corta distancia del cabello. P-2

4 CONCENTRADOR El concentrador permite un flujo de aire directo en su cabello para un mejor peinado. Instale el concentrador simplemente encajándolo sobre la unidad. Desconéctelo halando suavemente. LIMPIEZA 1. Antes de limpiar la unidad, desconéctela del tomacorriente. 2. Limpie la unidad con un paño seco y suave. 3. Los accesorios pueden ser lavados con abundante agua. Retírelos de la unidad antes de lavarlos. Importante! Nunca sumerja la unidad en agua ó en cualquier otro liquido. ALMACENAMIENTO Cuando la unidad no este siendo usada, desconéctela del tomacorriente. Permita que la unidad se enfríe antes de almacenarla. El secador de cabello tiene una manija plegable para un fácil almacenamiento. No enrolle el cable de energía alrededor de la unidad, ya que esto puede producir daños y desgaste en el cable de la unidad. 7 IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed, including the following: 1. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local voltage before you connect the appliance. 2. WARNING-Keep this appliance away from water! Do not use this product near or over water in bathtubs, basins or other vessels. 3. When the hair dryer is used in a bathroom, unplug the appliance after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard, even when the hairdryer is switched off. 4. For additional protection, we advise you to install a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice. 5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used on or near children or some disabled people. Store out of children s reach. 6. Never block the air grilles. 7. If the appliance overheats, it will switch off automatically. Unplug the appliance and let it cool down for a few minutes. Before you switch the appliance on again, check the grilles to make sure they are not blocked by fluff, hair, etc. 8. Do not direct the airflow towards the eyes or other sensitive areas. 9. Neither should the appliance be used with wet hands nor immersed in water, held in running water, or allowed to become wet. 10. Switch the appliance on by selecting the desired setting. The dryer has a constant caring temperature. The airflow can be adjusted: 2: Fast setting-strong airflow for fast drying. 1: style setting-low airflow for gentle drying and styling. 0: Off. 3. Dry your hair by making brushing movements while holding the dryer at a small distance from your P-2

8 hair. STYLING ATTACHMENTS Concentrator The concentrator enables you to direct the airflow at your hair that you are styling. Connect the concentrator by simply snapping it onto the appliance. Disconnect it by pulling it off. CLEANING 1. The appliance can be cleaned with a dry cloth. 2. The attachments can be cleaned with a moist cloth or rinsed under a running tap. Remove the attachments from the appliance before cleaning them. Make sure the attachments are dry before using or storing them. Never rinse the appliance with water. STORAGE When not in use unplug it. Allow the appliance to cool and store it in a dry location. This hair dryer features a loop allowing it to be conveniently hung on a hook for easy access. Never wrap the cord around the appliance since this will cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. If the supply cord of this appliance becomes damaged the appliance must be replaced by returning to the retailer from which the product was purchased or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
