3 SP-1940 DESKTOP RADIO TRAVEL SPEAKER USER S MANUAL Thank you for purchasing Panacom s SP Please read the manual carefully before operating. INTRODUCTION This speaker plays MP3 format and FM Radio only. The source of music can be any MP3/MP4 players and from any PC or any Mobile. The device s memory must be compatible with USB flash or SD card reader. It supports any SD card, as long as it would have maximum capacity of 4 GB. It includes an internal rechargeable Li-ion battery, because It has been made portable; you can enjoy your music anywhere and anytime. CAUTION Do not place product in moisture or hot environment. Avoid splashing water or impact on product. Overload operation will cause damage and shorten the life of the product. Turn off power source when product is not in use. Always before cleaning, disconnect the power line and all connection cables. PRODUCT FUNCTIONS 1. When it is turned on, it will check first USB socket (Default). If there is not an USB connection turned on after checking the USB out, it will switch to SD card automatically. If the device cannot check neither of them it will play FM Radio. 2. This product is checking sound constantly. For example: when the music is playing from USB socket, if a SD card is inserted it will switch to SD card mode automatically. Pg. 3

4 3. The display can show the number and time of the song. 4. To insure listening quality, the internal lithium battery should be regularly charged. If the music is playing intermittently or if it is distorted, connect the speaker to a power source immediately. 5. It is normal if the speaker gets hot. DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT A. Functions of buttons 1 : Switch the music input From USB to SD to FM and from FM to SD to USB if the radio is turned off, the mode will only switch from USB to SD. 2 : Mute the speaker 3 : i. Play and pause key. ii. Long press to scan radio station and short press to choose one. 4 : i. Long press to reduce the volume ii. Short press to Go back to last song played 5 : i. Long press to increse the volume ii. Short press to Go forward to next song 6 : Change the sound effect, when playing in USB,SD card input. 7 : i. Repeat current song when single press ii.repeat all playlist when double press B. Functions of remote control 1 : Power On or Off 2 : Switch the input USB or SD to FM and from FM to USB or SD Pg. 4

5 3 : Mute the sound output 4 : Play and pause key 5 : Go back to last song played 6 : Go forward to next song 7 : Change the sound effect (when playing from USB/SD) 8 : Reduce the volume 9 : Increase the volume 10 : Switch to repeat mode (when single press it repeats the song currently playing; when double press it repeats all playlist) 11 : a. Switch the music input from USB to SD and from SD to USB b. Scan FM Radio 12. #0 to #9 key : a. Number selection of tracks. It can only be used when playing from USB/SD socket. Pressing quickly the keys it can skip to the selected song. For ex: press 3,3,5 and it will play song number #335 directly. If there are not so many songs in the USB disk or the SD card this function will not work. b. Radio Station Selection. Pressing quickly the keys it will skip to the FM channel. 7 SP-1940 PARLANTE DE VIAJE CON RADIO PARA ESCRITORIO MANUAL DEL USUARIO Gracias por comprar el SP-1940 de Panacom. Por favor lea este manual cuidadosamente previo al uso. INTRODUCCIÓN Sólo reproduce archivos en formato MP3 y Radio FM. La fuente de la música puede ser un reproductor de MP3/MP4 y también desde una PC o un teléfono celular. En estos casos se puede utilizar el puerto USB o el lector de tarjetas SD. Soporta cualquier marca de tarjetas SD, siempre y cuando no exceda los 4GB de capacidad. El Parlante Lector de Tarjetas SP-1920 incluye una batería recargable de Li-ion para su portabilidad; ahora puedes escuchar tu música en todo momento, en cualquier lugar. CUIDADO No exponga el producto a altas temperaturas ni en un ambiente con humedad elevada. Evite los golpes al producto y el contacto con líquidos. Sobreexigir las operaciones del producto causará daños y reducción de la vida del producto. Para el uso correcto del producto, Desconecte o apague la fuente de energía cuando no se está utilizando. En caso de limpiar el producto, desconecte siempre la fuente de energía y el resto de los cables conectados. FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL PRODUCTO 1. Cuando se enciende, el parlante chequea primero la conexión USB (por default). Si no encuentra la conexión USB, luego cambiará automáticamente a che- Pg. 7

8 quear la conexión SD. Si no encuentra ninguna de las dos conexiones anteriores, buscará en la frecuencia de radio FM. 2. Este producto controla el sonido constantemente. Por ejemplo: mientras que se reproduce música desde la conexión USB se inserta una tarjeta SD, se cambiará al modo de reproducción desde SD automáticamente. 3. La pantalla numérica exhibe el número de la canción y el tiempo de reproducción de la misma. 4. Para asegurar la calidad de reproducción, la batería interna de Li-ion debe ser cargada regularmente. Si la música se reproduce intermitentemente o se distorsiona, conecte el parlante a una fuente de energía inmediatamente. 5. Es normal que el parlante levante temperatura. DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PRODUCTO A. Función de los botones 1 : Cambia la entrada de sonido de USB a SD a FM y de FM a SD a USB Si la radio está apagada, el cambio solo afectará a USB y SD. 2 : Enmudece el parlante. 3 : i. Reproducción y Pausa ii. En el modo Radio, una presión constante escanéa la frecuencia y una presión corta elije la estación de radio. 4 : i. Mantenga presionado para reducir el volumen ii. Presione una vez para retroceder a la última canción reproducida 5 : i. Mantenga presionado para aumentar el volumen ii. Presione una vez para adelantar a la siguiente canción 6 : Cambia el efecto de sonido cuando se utiliza la entrada USB o tarjeta SD. 7 : i. Funciones del control remoto 1 : Encendido y Apagado 2 : Cambia el modo de entrada de USB o SD a FM y de FM a SD o USB. 3 : Enmudece el sonido reproducido 4 : Reproducción y pausa. 5 : Retrocede a la última canción reproducida. 6 : Adelanta a la siguiente canción. 7 : Cambia el efecto de sonido (cuando se reproduce desde USB/SD) 8 : Disminuye el volumen 9 : Aumenta el volumen 10 : Enciende el modo de repetición (con un click simple se repite la canción que se está reproduciendo; con un click doble se repite toda la lista de canciones) 11 : a.cambia el efecto de sonido (cuando se reproduce desde USB/SD) b.escanea la radio FM 12. #0 to #9 : a.selección directa de canción. Sólo puede ser usada cuando se reproduce desde USB/SD. Presionando rápidamente puede saltear a la canción seleccionada. Por ej: Presionando 3,3,5 comenzará a reproducir la canción 335. Si no existe esa cantidad de archivos en el USB o en la tarjeta SD, entonces no funcionará la selección. b.selección de estaciones de Radio: Presionando rápidamente puede saltear a un canal de FM. PANACOM warrants the operation of this product to be free from any manufacturing and/or material defect for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase by the user. 2. This warranty is limited to the repair and/or replacement of this product, according to our own criterion, free of charge within the stipulated term and it does not extend to consequential or incidental damages to other products that may be used with this unit. 3. The warranty shall be voided in the following cases: a) repair or attempt to repair by third parties not authorized by the company. b) in case of performing any type of cut in connection cables, plugs, connectors, or other adapters different from the original ones provided by the company. 4. PANACOM garantiza el funcionamiento de este producto ante cualquier defecto de fabricación y/o vicio de material por el término de 12 meses contado a partir de la fecha de compra por parte del usuario. 2.
