Follow accepted plumbing practices. Know and follow all applicable local plumbing codes. Dimensions Note: A minimum room height of 90 1/2 required! Install into completely tiled bathroom with a minimum "tiled area" of 72 7/8! The product is for installation in a 90 o corner. The valve can be installed on the left or right side. The water connections must be installed according to this. The wall to wall installation must be done only with the wall to wall installation set included. The installation dimensions stated in these installation instructions are ideal for people of approximately 6 in body height. The dimensions can be altered if required. In this case the minimum ceiling height of 90 1/2 from shower tray floor must be increased. Alter all other required measurements accordingly. Note: Use extreme caution when drilling the bottom holes if water lines are in that area. Roughing - in: This unit requires two 1/2 female threaded fittings, recessed 3/8 behind the surface of the finished wall, for the hot and cold supplies. La instalación de pared a pared solo se podrá hacer con el set de instalación de pared a pared (Ref ). Las medidas indicadas en las instrucciones de montaje resultan ideales para personas de 6 de altura, por lo que deberán ajustarse siempre que sea necesario. En este sentido, es importante tener en cuenta que, en caso de modificación de la altura de montaje, será necesario respetar el requisito de 90 1/2 de altura mínima desde la base de la ducha y observar las medidas de conexión. Si la altura de las tomas de agua no se encuentran dentro del rango ilustrado, los taladros deben ajustarse en consecuencia. Les dimensions d installation données dans la notice de montage sont idéales pour une personne de 6 de hauteur et doivent être ajustées selon le besoin. A ce sujet il faut tenir compte, pour un changement de hauteur, que la côte minimum donnée de 90 1/2 à partir de la base du receveur change et la modification du montage sera à prendre en considération. Si les hauteurs de l alimentation d eau se trouvent hors du secteur donné, les dimensions de perçage devront être adaptées en rapport. (Hauteur minimum de la pièce de 90 1/2 à partir de la base du receveur). Remarque : Avant de percer les trous du bas, contrôler si les tuyaux d eau froide ou chaude circulent à cet endroit. 4

18 Safety Function / Handle Justification Función de seguridad / Ajuste del termostato Safety Function / Réglage du thermostat English Español Français Fig. A: Safety Function If required by local plumbing code, the high temperature limit stop can be reset. 1 Remove the handle. 2 Remove the clip and stop ring. 3 Turn the handshower on.. 4 Turn the thermostatic stem until the water is 110 o F, or the desired high temperature. 5 Turn the handshower off. 6 Install the stop ring so that it is against the stop. Install the clip. 7 Justify the handle Fig. B: Justify the Handle Correction is necessary if the temperature of the output water is different from that marked on the handle. Adjustment 1 Turn the handshower on. 2 Adjust thermostat to 100 F with the thermostatic knob 3 Turn the water off. Remove the handle 4 Set the thermostatic knob to the 100 F safety stop 5 Install the handle. Tighten the set screw. Fig. B: Ajustar el termostato Después del montaje deberá comprobarse la temperatura del agua del termostato, en la salida del caño. Una corrección se efectuará siempre y cuando la temperatura del agua tomada a la salida del caño, no corresponda con la indicada en el volante del termostato. Ajuste 1 Girar la palanca Triostatplus a la posición de teleducha. 2 En el botón del termostato, ajustar el termostato a 100 F. 3 Girar la palanca Triostat-plus a la posición 0. Desmontar la palanca. 4 Girar el botón del termostato al tope de 100 F. 5 Colocar la palanca, orientarla verticalmente y apretar el tornillo. Cleaning the hand and head shower With "Rubit ", the manual cleaning function, scale deposits can be removed from the spray former by rubbing. To remove scale buildup on the spray face, use a commercial scale remover, such as Lime-Away TM or CLR TM. Pour about 3/4 of the remover into a shallow dish. Soak only the spray face. Follow all label instructions regarding dilution and soaking time.. Mantenimiento Válvula antirretorno (Fig. C) Las válvulas anti-retorno tienen que ser controladas regularmente según la norma DIN EN 1717, en acuerdo con las regulaciones nacionales o regionales (una vez al año, por lo menos). Limpieza de la ducha manual y de la ducha rociadora Con "Rubit, el sistema de limpieza manual, se pueden eliminar restos de cal en los formadores de chorro, fregándolos simplemente. Entretien Clapet anti-retour (Fig. C) Les clapets anti-retour doivent être examinés régulièrement conformément à la norme EN 1717 ou conformément aux dispositions nationales ou régionales quant à leur fonction (au moins une fois par an). 22 Cleaning Recommendation for Hansgrohe Products Modern faucetry and shower products utilize a combination of materials to comply with the needs of the market with regard to design and functionality. To avoid damage, it is necessary to use some caution when cleaning. Damage caused by improper treatment is not covered under the Hansgrohe warranty. Cleaning Materials for Faucets and Showers To remove lime scale, use only products made specifically for that purpose. Always follow the manufacturer s instructions when using. Do not use cleaners that contain hydrochloric, formic, acetic, or phosphoric acids, as these will cause considerable damage to finishes and to plastic components. Never mix cleaning materials. Never use cleaners containing abrasives. Do not use abrasive cleaning cloths, pads, or sponges. Cleaning Procedures Clean your faucets and shower products as and when required. Regular cleaning will prevent scale buildup and water spotting. Follow the label instructions. Do not allow any cleaner to remain on the product for longer than necessary. When using spray cleaners, spray first onto a sponge or cloth do not spray directly onto the product. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with clear water to remove any cleaner residue. Important Soap and shampoo residue can also cause damage to the product. Rinse well with clean water after use. If the surface is already damaged, harsh cleaning materials will cause further damage. Limited Lifetime Consumer Warranty This product has been manufactured and tested to the highest quality standards by Hansgrohe, Inc. ( Hansgrohe ). This warranty is limited to Hansgrohe products which are purchased by a consumer in the United States after March 1, 1996, and installed in either the United States or Canada. WHO IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY This warranty extends to the original consumer purchaser only. WHAT IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY This warranty covers only your Hansgrohe manufactured product. Hansgrohe warrants this product against defects in material or workmanship as follows: Hansgrohe will repair at no charge for parts only or, at its option, replace any product or part of the product which proves defective because of improper workmanship and/or material, under normal installation, use, service and maintenance. If Hansgrohe is unable to provide a replacement and repair is not practical or cannot be timely made, Hansgrohe may elect to refund the purchase price in exchange for the return of the product. LENGTH OF WARRANTY Replacement or repaired parts of products will be covered for the term of this warranty as stated in the following two sentences.
