1 Brix Ratio Check Instructions for ColdFusion and Flavor Overload Units INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Brix Ratio Check Instructions For Coldfusion, Flavorfusion and Flavor Overload Units Kit P/N SAFETY Before starting installation, read and understand all safety label and warnings on the machine. Also review and understand all safety instructions in the owners, installation and service manuals. Failure to comply could result in serious injury, death or damage to the equipment. QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL Only trained and certified electrical, plumbing and refrigeration technicians should service this unit. All wiring and plumbing must conform to national and local codes. Failure to comply could result in serious injury, death or equipment damage. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS This unit has been specifically designed to provide protection against personal injury. To ensure continued protection observe the following: Disconnect power to the unit before servicing. Follow all lock out/tag out procedures established by the user. Verify all power is off to the unit before performing any work. Failure to comply could result in serious injury, death or damage to the equipment.! Locate Ratio Check parts, Ratio Cup, S-tube and Splitter Nozzle (Figure 1.) and a sanitized blue towel. Ratio Cup Splitter Nozzle S Tube Figure Remove the black outer nozzle by rotating it left and pulling down (Figure 2.) 3. Install the clear Splitter Nozzle by pushing up and rotating to right unit it stops (Figure 3.) Figure 2. Figure 3. Figure 4. Figure Insert the S-tube through the splitter nozzle opening and onto the desired nozzle port (Figure 4.) Refer to Nozzle Location Diagram below to match syrup brand to nozzle port. Press brand button until syrup flows from S-tube. Let run for 5 seconds longer. 5. With the 5.0 to 1 side facing you, place Ratio Cup under nozzle so water and syrup flow into the appropriate sections of the ratio cup. The S-tube metal end should be positioned in the front left compartment of the 5.0 to 1 scale (Figure 5.) 6. In one continuous pour, fill the cup until both the water and syrup are within the ratio window (Figure 6.) 7. Tap the ratio cup on the counter 3 times. Place it on a level surface and read the ratio immediately. The water and syrup levels should be within +/-3 bars, of each other (Figure 7.) If so, move onto next syrup. 3 Brix Ratio Check Instructions for ColdFusion and Flavor Overload Units 8. If the water and syrup levels are not within +/-3 bars of each other, rinse the cup with water and repeat steps 5-7. If still not within +/-3 bars, call Pepsi service ( ) to adjust ratio. wipe down unit and nozzles with a sanitized blue towel after you have completed the brix checks. DE PARTE Obtenga las partes para Verificar Rangos : Vaso Medidor, Manguera en S, Boquilla (Figure 1.) y una toalla azul desinfectada. Vasa Medidor Boquilla Mangnera en S Figure Gire la boquilla exterior negra hacia la izquierda y jálela hacia abajo para quitarla (Figure 2.) 3. Instale la boquilla transparente empujándola hacia arriba y girándola hacia la derecha hasta que se detenga (Figure 3.) Figure 2. Figure 3. Figure 4. Figure Inserte la manguera en S a través de la abertura de la boquilla, dentro del puerto de la boquilla deseado (Figure 4.) Consulte el Diagrama de Posiciones de la Boquilla para que la marca de jarabe corresponda al puerto correcto. Presione el botón de la marca hasta que el jarabe fluya de la manguera en S. Deje correr durante 5 segundos más. 5. Con el lado 5.0 a 1 de frente hacia usted,coloque el Vaso Medidor bajo la boquilla para que el agua y el jarabe fluyan dentro de las secciones adecuadas. El extremo de metal de la manguera en S debe estar colocado en el compartimiento frontal izquierdo de la escala de 5.0 a 1 (Figure 5.) -4-

De un sólo chorro continuo, llene el vaso hasta que el agua y el jarabe estén dentro de la ventana de proporción (Figure 6.) 7. Golpee el vaso medidora en el mostrador 3 veces,colóquelo en una superficie plana y lea el rango de proporción inmediatamente. Los niveles de agua y jarabe deben estar en un rango de +/- 3 barras uno del otro (Figure 7.) Si eso ocurre, continue con el siguiente jarabe. VENTANA DE RANGOS DE PROPOCION Figure 6. Figure Si los niveles de agua y jarabe no están dentro de un rango de +/- 3 barras uno del otro, enjuage el vaso con agua y repita los pasos del 5 al 7. Si después de esto, todavía no alcanza el rango de +/-3 barras, contacte al área de Servicio de Pepsi ( ) para ajustar los rangos. Limpie la unidad y las boquillas con la toalla azul desinfectada una vez que haya concluido la verificación de los rangos de proporción.
