5 Día 1 Jueves Quito Bienvenido a Quito! A la llegada a Quito, su guía de Abercrombie &/ Kent le acompañará hasta el hotel. Quito, ubicada a los pies del Volcán Pichincha (4696 metros), es conocida por su delicioso clima que recuerda una eterna primavera y por la belleza de su centro colonial muy bien conservado. En el primer milenio la tribu de los Quitus poblaba esta región, luego fue anexada por el imperio inca; antes de ser destruida y refundada en 1534 por el conquistador español Sebastián de Benalcázar. Durante casi tres siglos, el desarrollo intelectual y artístico floreció bajo el régimen colonial español, un hecho que se hace evidente en el centro histórico. Ahora espléndidamente restaurado con sus edificios coloniales e iglesias que recubren las calles estrechas y empedradas. En 1809, Quito estableció la primera junta de gobierno propio en las colonias y el libertador Simón Bolívar dirigió el país como parte de la República de la Gran Colombia hasta 1830, cuando la República de Ecuador anunció su independencia. Debido al estado de conservación de la ciudad y de su pasado, la UNESCO declaró a Quito como Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad en La ciudad está situada en un valle andino a metros sobre el nivel del mar, lo que la convierte en la segunda capital más alta del mundo. Gold: Casa Gangotena Boutique Hotel ( Hab Luxury room) 2 noches Día 2 Viernes Quito D Después del desayuno, comenzaremos una visita del Quito colonial. Los lugares que veremos nos confirman las razones por las que la Unesco nombró a Quito primer Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Nos dejaremos maravillar por la arquitectura y ricas decoraciones de las iglesias de San Francisco y su museo de arte religioso, La iglesia de la Compañía y las siete toneladas de oro que doran sus paredes haciéndolas brillar, y la ajetreada Plaza de la Independencia, flanqueada por el Palacio Presidencial y la Catedral de Quito. Con sus ricos tesoros artísticos, tallas en madera fina, y balcones con flores, el centro histórico es el alma y la joya de Quito. Page 5 of 14

6 Gold: Casa Gangotena Boutique Hotel (Hab Luxury) Día 3 Sábado Quito - Galápagos D-A-C Después del desayuno, traslado al aeropuerto para coger el vuelo con destino a las Islas Galápagos. El vuelo es el 2K034, saliendo a las horas y llegando a las horas (sujeto a cambio sin previo aviso). A su llegada a Baltra, pasará un control del aeropuerto que tiene por objetivo garantizar que ninguna planta u animal sea introducido a las islas. Una persona nos estará esperando para darnos la bienvenida y llevaros al embarcadero del M/V Eclipse, donde podremos instalarnos en nuestras cabinas antes de asistir a una charla de información y seguridad. Después del almuerzo tomaremos una embarcación (panga) para ir a la Caleta de Tortuga negra en la isla de Santa Cruz. Tarde: Caleta Tortuga Negra, Isla Santa Cruz La caleta tortuga negra es uno de los sitios más hermosos de las Galápagos. Se trata de un complejo laberinto de tranquilas calas de agua salada rodeada de tres diferentes especies de mangle. Sus aguas son un vivero de tortugas marinas, rayas y tiburones, así como un sitio de anidación de aves marinas. Este lugar es accesible únicamente en panga. 7 Día 4 - Domingo Galápagos D-A-C Mañana: Isla Rábida Desembarco mojado en Rábida, es una pequeña isla con rocas volcánicas rojas que rodean una hermosa playa de arena roja. El contenido inusualmente alto de hierro de los volcanes de Rábida ha dado este matiz distinto a gran parte de la isla. Es la isla con la posible actividad volcánica más variada en el archipiélago, lo que se puede ver en sus únicas y variadas formaciones geológicas, incluyendo colinas erosionadas y lava endurecida. La fauna es igualmente impresionante: pelícanos marrones que se encuentran entre julio y septiembre para anidar y nueve especies de los famosos pinzones de Darwin puede ser vistos. Una gratificante caminata a lo largo de las costas de esta pequeña isla (4.9 kilómetros cuadrados) permite la observación de una gran colonia de lobos e iguanas marinas, sinsontes, reinitas de manglar y varias especies de pinzones de Darwin. Muy cerca de la playa, escondida detrás de arbustos, hay una laguna salobre donde a veces migra el Flamenco Mayor. Rábida es considerada como uno de los mejores sitios para hacer snorkel en las Islas Galápagos debido a la combinación única de especies acuáticas y el paisaje submarino. Nivel de dificultad: Fácil Tarde: Puerto Egas Isla Santiago Puerto Egas, también llamado Puerto James esta ubicado en la parte noroeste de la isla. Desembarco mojado en una playa negra que también fue visitada por Charles Darwin en Un sendero atraviesa el árido centro de Santiago, pasando por las ruinas de una antigua empresa salinera, para luego seguir por la costa. La primera parte del sendero esta compuesta por cenizas volcánicas (toba erosionada), y la otra mitad por irregulares piedras basálticas que siguen la costa. Su terreno único compuesto de capas alberga gran cantidad de aves endémicas y migratorias, entre las cuales encontramos la garza nocturna Sabacú (Nyctanassa violacea) y una sorprendente gama de vida marina: erizos de mar, pulpos, langostas, estrellas de mar, e iguanas marinas pastando algas al lado de zayapas en los fondos marinos. Después de la caminata tendrá tiempo para nadar, hacer snorkel o kayak desde la playa observando lobos marinos, peces e incluso tortugas, rayas o tiburones de arrecife. Nivel de dificultad: Moderado. 8 Día 5 Lunes Galápagos D-A-C Mañana: Caleta Tagus, Isla Isabela Durante siglos la caleta Tagus ha sido el lugar de desembarco favorito de piratas y balleneros (desembarco seco). Grafitis centenarios pueblan sus paredes con el recuerdo de estos hombres. Subiendo un sendero llegaremos al cráter Darwin con su pequeño lago de agua salada. Desde ahí tendremos una vista excelente sobre los campos de lava y formaciones volcánicas. La vegetación de la zona incluye el oloroso árbol de Palo Santo. Estos árboles de corteza blanca, aparentan estar muertos por estar desprovistos de hojas la mayor parte del año. Recuperan un aspecto más vivo con su germinación en la época de lluvias. Regresaremos por el mismo camino para retomar una panga y gracias a un paseo a lo largo de la costa veremos la prolífica vida marina. Variedad de aves marinas como piqueros de patas azules, gaviotines de san Félix, gaviotas, cormoranes terrestres, y dependiendo de la época del año hasta diminutos pingüinos de Galápagos. Esta es la única especie de pingüinos que viven en el hemisferio norte. Son monógamos y ponen sus huevos en las fisuras de la roca de lava cerca de la orilla, pero lo suficientemente lejos para que el mar no los toque. La mayor parte de su población vive en la costa oeste de Isabela y en total suman 2000 individuos. En el cruce del canal que separa Isabela de Fernandina nos hemos encontrado con ballenas y delfines. Nivel de dificultad: Moderado Tarde: Punta Espinoza, Isla Fernandina Esta tarde visitaremos la isla mas joven del archipiélago: la Fernandina (desembarco seco). El volcán la Cumbre, cuya última erupción fue en abril del 2009, domina el paisaje con campos de lava que se extienden desde sus laderas hasta el mar. Cerca encontramos el canal Bolívar que separa las islas Fernandina de Isabela y tal vez podríamos calificarlo como uno de los lugares con la mayor diversidad de fauna endémica submarina de las Galápagos. En sus costas encontramos uno de los ecosistemas más prístinos y únicos del mundo. Fernandina no ha sufrido ninguna introducción de mamíferos lo que le ha permitido mantener un hábitat ideal para animales como serpientes de Galápagos, pingüinos y halcones. Suelen haber cormoranes terrestres anidando y una de las más grandes, y por lo tanto sorprendentes, congregaciones de iguanas marinas de todo el archipiélago. Las podrá observar mientras toman el sol, se bañan, y a veces hasta impidiendo el paso al muelle, en su lucha por compartir el espacio con leones marinos y zayapas. Nivel de dificultad: Moderado. 9 M/V Eclipse Cabina Stateroom Día 6 Martes Galápagos D-A-C Mañana: Bahía de Urbina, Isla Isabela Desembarco mojado. La Bahía de Urbina se encuentra al pie de los volcanes Alcedo y Darwin, en la costa oeste de Isabela. Estos volcanes se formaron por un levantamiento del suelo marino en Aquí podrán observar corales, conchas, y otros organismos calcáreos fuera del agua. Luego de un desembarco mojado en una hermosa playa de arena negra, con un poco de suerte, podrá observar nidos de tortugas marinas. Esta zona es conocida, a su vez, por la presencia de cormoranes terrestres y pingüinos; y es un de los mejores lugares para observar pinzones de Darwin e iguanas terrestres de gran tamaño. Si esta atento podrá observar también tortugas de Galápagos alimentándose en la densa vegetación de la isla. Nivel de dificultad: Moderado Tarde: Punta Vicente Roca, Isla Isabela Punta Vicente Roca es un maravilloso lugar para hacer snorkel, a menudo se ven tortugas marinas y varios tipos de peces. Para las personas que no deseen hacer snorkel hay la posibilidad de dar una vuelta en panga a lo largo de la costa, admirando las impresionantes formaciones rocosas y aprendiendo un poco de geología con las explicaciones de su guía. Este es un lugar de anidación para cormoranes terrestres, quienes junto con los pingüinos son las únicas aves marinas que se han adaptado al buceo. Encontramos también otros animales como lobos marinos, lobos peleteros, pingüinos de Galápagos, piqueros nazca y de patas azules, pelícanos, gaviotas de cola bifurcada, iguanas marinas, entre otros. 10 Día 7 Miércoles Galápagos - Guayaquil - Depart B Mañana: Fundación Charles Darwin, Isla Santa Cruz, Puerto Ayora Visitaremos la Estación Científica Charles Darwin y sus famosos residentes en un impresionante bosque de opuntia. Se trata de la sede de la investigación científica, la conservación y la administración del Parque Nacional de las islas. Se podrán apreciar los enormes esfuerzos realizados por los científicos, guías, guarda parques y administradores para preservar este Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Nivel de dificultad: Fácil. Traslado por tierra y luego en un ferry desde Puerto Ayora hacia el aeropuerto de Baltra para coger el vuelo de regreso a Guayaquil. El vuelo es el 2K033, saliendo a las hrs y llegando a las hrs (sujeto a cambio sin previo aviso) A la llegada al aeropuerto de Guayaquil, un representante de Abercrombie & Kent le trasladará al hotel. 12 1. CONTRACTING PARTIES These Terms and Conditions are legally binding between the traveller(s) and Abercrombie & Kent Ecuador S.A., herein after referred to as A&K. 2. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS PLEASE NOTE: Acceptance of a quotation from A&K constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions which take effect immediately. 3. ACCOMMODATION: All accommodation, room type(s) and specification are as shown in the itinerary. 4. MEALS: Meals are as shown in the itinerary. 5. TRANSFERS: Transfers are provided on arrival and departure from airport to hotel and return only where specified in the itinerary. 6. ITINERARY: Accommodation and arranged sightseeing are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond A&K s control. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued. A&K also reserves the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it, to make such alterations to the itinerary or the tour inclusions as it deems necessary or desirable, and to pass on to tour members any expenditures or losses caused by delays or events beyond its control. In case of any appreciable variation in the tour price due to these circumstances, A&K reserves the right to make adjustments to the tour costs as necessary. 7. SPECIAL REQUESTS: Specific requests should be advised at time of booking. TRANSPORTATION: Transportation will be as specified in the itinerary. 9. BAGGAGE: A&K provides handling of baggage only as specified in the quotation. Weight restrictions for baggage on some routes on internal/domestic flights may apply; details of which will be provided with pre-tour documentation. Baggage and personal effects are at the owner s risk throughout the tour and A&K assumes no liability for lost or damaged baggage. Baggage insurance is strongly advised. Please check with your international carrier for other baggage restrictions applicable to your international flight. 10. TAXES AND GRATUITIES: Hotel taxes as imposed by city and state governments are included. Airport taxes are included where specified in the itinerary. Gratuities for guides, drivers, porters, camp staff, ship crew and Tour Managers are not included and are at the discretion of the traveller. 11. PRICES & ARRANGEMENTS: The tour price includes planning, handling and operational charges and is quoted based on the current rates of exchange and tariffs. Entrance fees as part of scheduled sightseeing tours are also included in this price. This price is subject to revision in line with significant changes in foreign currency, tariff rates, taxes etc. 12. PHOTOGRAPHY: A&K reserves the right to take photographs during the operation of any program or part thereof and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a program with A&K, travellers agree to allow their images to be used in such photographs. Travellers who prefer that their images not be used are asked to identify themselves to A&K prior to final payment and they will be exempted from this photography waiver clause. 14. REGISTRATION: A non-refundable deposit of 10% is required at the time of booking. The remainder of the tour cost is payable 60 days prior to departure. If the reservation is made within 60 days of departure, the entire tour price must be paid at the time of confirmation. The deposit percentage may vary depending on the requirements of particular suppliers. A&K will advise before registration if the required deposit amount is greater than 10%. Please note: a copy of any additional special terms and conditions applicable to specific suppliers will be annexed to these terms, if applicable. 15. CANCELLATION: All cancellations must be received in writing Cancellations received between the date of booking and 61 days prior to departure will result in the loss of the deposit Cancellations received days prior to departure will be subject to a cancellation charge of 25% of the tour price Cancellations received days prior to departure will be subject to a cancellation charge of 50%of the tour price Cancellations received days prior to departure will be subject to a cancellation charge of 75% of the tour price Cancellations received 14 days or less prior to departure will be subject to a forfeiture of the entire tour price Cancellation of airline tickets will be subject to the refund policy of each individual airline and may be greater than the percentages above particularly when low cost/net based fares are used The purchase of special event tickets is subject to the refund policy of each individual event. Please refer to the specific event policy for details A&K reserve the right to charge for financial penalties, fees and losses incurred as a result of cancellation. 17. CLAIMS AND REFUNDS: Refunds are not made for any missed services, except for verifiable extenuating circumstances. Please see our LIMITS ON ABERCROMBIE & KENT S RESPONSIBILITY clause below. For verifiable claims to be considered, they must be received in writing within 30 days of the termination of the program. Any adjustment considered will be based on the actual price of the services involved and not on a per diem basis. Adjustments will not be made for unused sightseeing trips or meals. A&K will not accept any liability for any claims that are not received within 30 days of the termination of your program. All claims for days missed while travelling should be made in writing within 30 days of the program. 18. LIMITS ON ABERCROMBIE & KENT S RESPONSIBILITY: Abercrombie & Kent Ecuador S.A., its employees, shareholders, officers, directors, successors, agents and assigns (collectively A&K), does not own or operate any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your trip with the exception of a limited number of vehicles. It purchases transportation (by aircraft, coach, train, vessel or otherwise), hotel and other lodging accommodations, restaurant, ground handling and other services from various independent suppliers (including from time to time other affiliated Abercrombie & Kent companies). All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result, A&K is not liable for any negligent or willful act of any such person or entity or of any third person. In addition and without limitation, A&K is not responsible for any injury, financial or physical loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection to the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of Page 13 of 14 services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transport mechanism to arrive or depart on time. There are many inherent risks in adventure travel of the type involved here, which can lead to illness, injury or even death. These risks are increased by the fact that these trips take place in remote locations, far from medical facilities. Passenger assumes all such risks associated with participating in this trip In the event of a cancellation or material alteration to the trip as a result of the circumstances as described in this clause A&K may in their sole and absolute discretion: a) offer the traveller(s) alternative travel arrangements or products of comparable standard as may be appropriate in the circumstances; or b) if alternative travel arrangements or products are not offered by A&K, A&K will make a prompt proportional refund of monies paid by the traveller A&K may charge a reasonable fee to cover the administration costs associated with providing alternative travel arrangements or products If a material alteration becomes necessary within 90 days of the departure date for any reason other than the circumstances described in this clause, A&K will endeavor to offer comparable products or a full refund of all monies paid by the traveller(s). 19. HEALTH PRECAUTIONS: Please ensure that you consult your personal physician about anti malaria precautions and other inoculations and vaccinations before travel. Where applicable, please ensure that whilst travelling you carry a valid Yellow Fever certificate.

TRAVEL ADVISORIES/WARNINGS: It is the responsibility of travellers to become informed about the most current travel advisories and warnings by referring to their respective government agencies. In the event of an active State Department or government agency Travel Warning against travel to specific destination location(s) of the trip, should the traveller still choose to travel, notwithstanding any travel advisory or warning, the traveller assumes all risk of personal injury, death or property damage that may arise out of the events like those advised or warned against. 21. TRAVELLERS REPRESENTATIONS: Traveller(s) represent(s) that neither he nor anyone traveling with him has any physical condition or disability that could create a hazard to himself or other members of the tour. A&K reserves the right to remove from the trip, at the sole expense of the traveller, anyone whose condition is such that he or she could create a hazard to himself or others, or otherwise impact the enjoyment of other passengers on the trip. AIR TRANSPORTATION: Airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event occurring while passengers are not on board their aircraft. International air carriers are also subject to international air conventions limiting their liability. These limitations of liability are explained on the e-ticket or on the reverse of the airline ticket and when issued, this constitutes the sole contract between the respective air carrier(s) and their passengers. 22. PASSPORT & VISAS Please note that passport holders are responsible for obtaining the required documentation applicable for entry. Please note also that passports must be valid for six (6) months before departure and should also have sufficient blank pages for visas and immigrations stamps. A&K cannot be held responsible should you be denied entry to a country due to noncompliance with these requirements. 23. TRAVEL INSURANCE: A&K strongly recommend all clients take out comprehensive travel insurance prior to date of travel. This insurance should cover cancellation and curtailment, all medical expenses including evacuation/repatriation, personal baggage, personal liability, death and permanent disability and travel document insurance. A&K cannot be held responsible for any costs arising from such loss or injury. 24. ARBITRATION AGREEMENT: Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, to the Limits on A&K s Responsibility clause, to the brochure, to any information relating in any way to the trip, to the trip itself or to any products or services related to the trip, shall be settled in the first instance by binding arbitration in the applicable legal forum as detailed in clause 26 of these Terms and Conditions. In lieu of a personal appearance at arbitration the arbitration may be conducted by telephonic means. Arbitration is the exclusive forum in the first instance for dispute resolution and except as otherwise provided by statute, each party shall bear its own costs and expenses and an equal share of the arbitrator and administrative fees. 25. APPLICABLE LAW AND FORUM: This agreement shall be construed, interpreted and enforced in accordance with, and shall be governed by the laws of ECUADOR. It is agreed between A&K and the travellers that all lawsuits against A&K arising under, in connection with, or incidental to the tour shall be filed, if at all, in the courts of ECUADOR to the exclusion of the courts of or in any other country or jurisdiction. ANNEX 14. REGISTRATION PRODUCTS WITH SPECIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS POLICIES M/V ECLIPSE Terms & Conditions FIT & GROUP PAYMENT POLICIES a) Reservations made 61 days or more prior to departure: A deposit of US $700 per person is required to confirm the booking. The final balance is required 60 days prior to departure. If the payment is not received on time, the space(s) will be automatically released. b) Reservations made 60 days or less prior to departure: A full non-refundable payment is required to confirm the booking. FIT & GROUP CANCELLATION POLICIES a) Cancellations made 121 days or more before departure: The deposit will be refunded, less a US $500 service charge per person. b) Cancellations made 120 to 61 days prior to departure: All deposits are non-refundable. c) Cancellations made 60 days or less prior to departure: Full payment will be applied as the cancellation penalty. Air tickets and entrance fees will only be charged if cancellations are made 20 days or less prior to departure.
